Which in your opinion is easier to breed and is a better overall in a species aquarium, and is fun to watch. Main thing though is easy to breed, thats what I want but what do you think?

So you would say those over kribs in the sense of breeding?

I've never had kribs, so I can't say how easy they breed, but as far as personal preference I like how the cons look more. Though if you're going to keep multiple pairs (how big is the tank?) I'd go with kribs over cons, because of the aggression issues, a breeding pair of cons will get extremely aggressive.

Don't breed cons unless you like lots of fish that you can't get rid of.

Raise white worms for live food. The white worms will eat the culls and then feed your next generation of fish. It's the circle of life.

Cons and kribs breed just as easy in my opinion. With cons though fry will have little value if u plan on breeding for profit. The kribs will be more profitable. I have a breeding pair of both , my cons breed usually every 4-5 weeks depending how long i leave the fry in. And the kribs still have their last batch with them and its been over 2 weeks. They both are pretty simple in my opinion . My kribs bred the day after i got them. and my cons are 3 years old and have had ALOT of babies.

PS kribs get much prettier breeding colors. ;)

Convicts breed very easily, however, they can be very aggressive. When I was a kid, my dad helped me set up a tank just so I could see them breed, and breed they did! As mentioned, you may have a problem getting rid of the offspring and hey do not make good community fish. Kribs, on the other hand, make nice community fish if given appropriate tank mates. I have also had success breeding them. A slight bit more challenging, but still quite easy. The Kribs should not be difficult to get rid of, are quite gorgeous-especially when breeding. My suggestion is the Kribs!
