L260 Queen Arabesque EGGS!!

Thanks Debbi & toddnbecka! All the moral support from you experts are much appreciated! :)

I am trying to make the eggs as "comfy" as possible! Do you know what else I need to do? I put the fry saver in same tank, it has its own sponge filter, and I also put an airstone in there. Should I throw in a ramshorn to clean the eggs? Anything else I need to do?

I checked on Dad this morning, and he's in the cave, no other activity going on. I really hope they will continue to... emmm..... "have fun" for a while from now on.

Anyway I will keep updating this thread with progress. I have to find some time to research on this, I haven't had time to read anything up yet!!

If you don't have time to check the eggs often enough to remove any infertile ones before they fungus and spread to the healthy eggs I'd drop in a few MTS. They're quite safe with live eggs; I'm not so sure about ramshorns though.

OK! Thanks!! I will have to do that. I went home for lunch and saw a few fungus ones already but there is one bunch about 7 eggs that look good. I removed the fungus ones and threw in some MTS. Thank goodness I have a never ending supply of those!

That is really cool!!! I hope that they are fertilized!!!! Fingers crossed...............

The air stone should be all you need if they're fertile. I would turn the air up a bit more for better water circulation around them though.

just keep them warm.. with lots of flow around them just as your doing

they look like some of them could be fertile to me... I wish you the best of luck and if you have any further questions/problems I am always here to help :-)

OK, thanks! I turned up the airstone in there, i think the flow is good. Just trying to get a couple of fishies out of this and I'll be stoked!

Thanks for the advise and help. I will definitely keep you all posted.
