I wouldn't stock more than multi's and julies in a 30. The tank is too small for paracyp's too, they're actually a rock-dwelling fish. Once the multi's and julies sort themselves out and start spawning the tank will become full soon enough. I have multi's and buescheri in a 55, a breeding pair w/fry on one end, shells and colony of multi's in the middle, and a second rockpile on the other end. I suspect the second rockpile will become another breeding territory once the juvie buescheri grow a bit more. Now, it's home to a single adult.
I completely agree. Start out with a trio of multis and a juli pair.
