Let's hear your ideas for a very casual wedding

for music, go back thru the oldie but goodies, find the ones that bring back the best memories, the laffs and the tears, after the initial choices for yourselves, ask your guests to bring the music that means the most to them for your wedding, it makes a great keepsake afterwards.

We are old rockers - I personally like Warren Zevon's Lawyers, Guns and Money (the (poop) has hit the fan).... but probably not appropriate for a wedding, and he likes Bon Jovi's (I'm going out in a) Blaze of Glory, but it's probably not quite right either. Pat Benatar's We Belong Together is nice, until you listen to all of the words....

Good Rock and/or metal love songs?

I was teasing, aren't I a devil :devil: . We are on the way out the door to meet with our priest (YEAH I AM SOOOO EXCITED I COULD BURST:lol2: :woot: :hearts: ). I will talk to Hubby, he is the music guru:cool-1: . I will get back to you.
 
okay - how about I wear a pareo (sarong) and hubby wears cut-offs and a hawaiian shirt -

he says all he cares about it the "I do" part - the rest is up to me!
 
If you would like to wear a pareo, go for it. And he is right it is about the "I do". But I want to also point out that you and your honey are finally getting married and you may want to look into informal wedding attire, if even to just rule it out first. There are several dresses/outfits that will allow you to be informal and relaxed. Here are a few links. I know our tastes may be vastly different, but what's the harm? SA - great ideas, but we are 49 and 50 y/o and a little beyond the white dress wedding. An old hippy and an old biker (remember?) - looking for something fun and cool (both temperature-wise and otherwise)
