AWESOME store. Great freshwater and marine sections, some very very nice corals as well. They breed a good lot of reptiles that they sell as well. Great prices, and they can order almost anything for you.

Sub-par store. Wide selection of all animals, but kept in poor health especially the fish. Has some harder to kind fish sometimes that definitely need some TLC

there are some other shops that i dont know about but these are the three outside of say Petsmart and Petco that i know of

Does anyone realise just how miserable it is to actually look through this thing to find petstores? You can NOT search for petstores, because just about everyone is using the two letter shortcut for their state, and you can't search for a two letter word using the search options.

Small, non-chain store, owned by Doug. Has an ok selection of freshwater, a tiny selection of saltwater (maybe 5 tanks?). Also has a tiny selection of reptiles/amphibians, some small pets, puppies and kittens. Some of the employees are better than others, but none of them really seem to be fish nerds (at least at the time of this posting). Doug is pretty cool, he works the morning shift on weekdays, and if you get ahold of him, you can special order supplies and pets, but make sure you get him, most of the time if you ask an employee, it gets written down in a composite notebook and you never hear back.
It's not the best place out there, but certainly work checking out.

Hours are weird, I can never remember them, and can't find them online. He's closed on Mondays and Sundays, and your best bet is to hit the place between 12 noon and 4pm, because even though he has posted hours, sometimes he makes it in an hour late or so... Just check the sign if you're driving by, or look for his little red hatchback car in the tiny parking lot. :)


Great shop, run by Jim, the owner (no employees). He's really up to date with his fish info, he's a hobbiest as well, and really knowledgable. You can sit and talk to him about fish for hours, literally, my husband and myself have done so before! He's into cichlids, and always has a ton of different species in stock (I'd say no less than 15 species at any given time). He gets some oddballs in as well. He doesn't carry any saltwater though, only freshwater. Great place, definately check it out.

I agree but I don't think anyone wants to go back and edit all to posts to spell out that states!!! Actually, I'm visiting my parents and bored so I would but I don't have that power!
