A really good Fish store in Calgary Is Golds Aquariums. They specialize in African cichlids but carry tonnes of other really neat fish. Their location is 46th st and 17th ave, right next to the giant tiger(if you live here). The people are very knowledgeable and will cut you deals quite often.

I live in canada and I'm not to impressed with the local pet shops. I did however find a mail order website that has a great selection and great prices. They ship super fast and go the extra milefor you. It is www.mops.ca

LFS

An excellent store in the Greater Boston area is Tropic Isle on Pierce St. in Framingham Massachusetts. Excellent fresh, marine and brackish section as well as any equipment and supplies you would need. A very knowledgable staff as well. This may be the best fish store in all of New England.

GREAT STORE IN THE METRO DETROIT'S NORTHWEST SUBURBS!

Choice Aquariums in Farmington Hills!

Great selection of healthy fish, plants, inverts, and supplies for both freshwater and marine enthusiasts. The staff are top notch professionals who love the hobby and will do the right thing each and every time to guarantee its success through each and every customer who is lucky enough to enter the store. As an added bonus, if you are a fan of discus, Choice Aquariums is blessed to have on its staff Cary Strong, one of the United States' (world's?) top discus breeders to answer all of your discus questions. Check out Cary's babies in store and at his website! http://www.greatlakesdiscus.com/

They truly know their stuff and loyal customers get good discounts. But what are the odds of finding another Melburnian on a predominantly American forum... =(

There is a New fish store right in the center of Charlotte.

Nemo Fish. We're located on Eastway Dr. and Central ave. Just behind the Wendy's. But we're a great store with over 1500+ Gallons of saltwater and freshwater. We offer the lowest prices and best quality fish.

My name is Chung, i'm a co-owner of the store. Our store is Family Owned and Operated. I'll keep it short. But if you have any questions or comments please feel free to contact me.

I spend a few hours there every time I go. Amazing saltwater selection. Even several pools with sharks and rays. The best selection of Discus I've ever seen, usually 6 to 10 tanks with 6 or more varieties. The stock always looks healthy, tanks clean and the staff seem to know what there talking about. They let me trade a discus that wouldn't eat for another.
Down-side: On busy days you have to take a number and wait for them to call you to get your fish. It's an hour drive for me

Nice LFS in Anne Arundel County Maryland

This is my LFS that I goto all the time. I have only had to ever take back one fish that died on me and they were very easy to work with regarding their guarantee. The help is a little "iffy" sometimes, some of the employees really really know their stuff, others.... not so much. They have an excellent selection of both Fresh and Saltwater fish, as well as live rock, corals, etc and more tanks and supplies/accessories than you can shake a stick at. Not to mention a reptile/small mammal section.
