LFS....yuck

I intend to take pictures of these fish later today. The LFS is just around the corner. I know I can' save every fish every time, but this is the worst I have ever seen. Has anyone ever tried calling animal cruelty or anything like this? When I go back if there are no "full Clips" in the tank I am going to insist that they feed them and put clips in the tank, and will call corporate right there while I am in the store if they refuse.

It's too bad that it's come to this, but due to legalities (and yes, certain companies have brought forums leaders to court for this kinda stuff) we don't have much of a choice. . .

I knew better, I am just so upset by their practices...
 
Call someone from the newspaper, if its the plase where they say ***** cares, then this will prove that they dont. And when the paper sees whats up, maybe they'll start caring.

I assume you have already contacted them through their website?

Can you bring your own fish food in and toss the fish some food when no one is watching?

I wonder what would happen if you called the local animal control?

Most animal control are obligated to act if animals are not being fed properly.

I have contacted the corporate offices, they called the store, cam back on the line and gave me a list of excuses. Needless to say, I was not happy with that. I returned to the store to find the same dead fish in their tanks as last night. The same starving tangs in the tank with no algae clips and it appears they have still not eaten.

And they don't care

I called county animal control. They were livid, to say the least. When I told them what was going on, they said just because it is a fish, doesn't exempt it from laws. They are sending an officer over to investigate the situation. I will let you know when tey call me back what they found.
