Lighting a 65G

you bought the one with actinic bulbs and replaced them or is there actually a fixture out there with them proper bulbs already included
(fishy sorry to go off topic a bit.. we still love you and will post all the help you need lol)

I had to purchase the 6700ks, cause they dont offer the Pro's with 6700k bulbs even at the time of ordering.

But, I wish AHsupply would do T5 retrofit, since the ballast they use works with both light types, CF/T5, and they obviously know how what their doing when it comes to reflectors.

they will 100% and you can ask them to wire the lights differently so that light switch1 turns on light 1 and 4 while switch2 turns on light 2 and 3

or switch1 turns on light 1-2 and switch2 turns on light 3-4

all this info i got from other threads where ppl already dealt with the manufacturer and got what they asked for

what most people do is run fraction of the light for half the day and for the last few hours do a midday boost.

I would think that to reduce algae with that great light one would want to do that 1/2-full way of running

So i just got an email back from the place about the lights and they will substitute for any lght bulb i want!
