lighting for a planted 29 gal.

I am planning on seting up my first planted 29 gal. aquarium and i wanted to go with low light plants with 1.5-2 watts of light per gal. no co2 and a glass canopy. What kind of light would you suggest? I have been reading about the power compact lights, but i am not sure which one to buy or the size i would need to fit over my 29 gal. I also have read some people say the 6700k bulbs give a yellowish tint to the tank, is this true? Thanks
 
I have a 29 gallon. I recommend a Coralife 65w with a 6700K bulbs. Perfect light for slow growing, low light plants, and the color temperature of the bulb is perfect to bring out the colors (no yellow). Be sure to get the adjustable legs for this fixture as it makes water changes easy.

You won't be disappointed with this fixture.

I too use a coralife fixture, and it is, pretty sweet. Hasn't failed me in 6 or 7 years. Mine has dual 65w lamps (one 6700 and one 10,000 ). But obviously i went a different rout and add Co2 and Ferts regularly. I do have a ton of plants though.
 
this is mine, I use a coralife 65watt, 67,000 bulb. my plants grow like mad with out any foods or co2. this is the picture 3 months ago, and today after a major clipping. the plants were growing out of the tank and floating on the top :lol:
