limited to one pleco what would it be?

I've always wanted a Zebra pleco (L046), they're so adorable! They stay small - 4 inches tops. They're pretty shy compare to normal plecs and omnivores, not algae eaters so feeding has to be more direct in order for them not to be outcompeted by tankmates. Since I got my first tank it's a fish that I've wanted but I've never seen them locally and... well... check out their prices on Aquabid...

Agreed

Ever since I started in this hobby, after skimming through a fish magazine one day I saw this zebra pleco and ever since I have always wanted one!

Just one?!? How can I choose? There's so many, and they are all so cool in their own ways.

My gut said zebras because of their awesome black and white stripes and fairly small size. But then I though, Royals because they also have stripes too and get fairly large without being too large to keep even in a 100g. I like big things. And my grandpa's name is Royal.

But, after thinking about it for a little while, I decided on L25 Scarlet pleco because it is also pretty big, and in my dreamworld I can have a huge tank for a huge pleco (17+ inches). They have awesome red edges on their fins that just look great! They are carnivorous but should have a small amount of veggies in their diet to round it out.

I like gold nuggets, any of them. Their mouths are so smooshy & pretty colors. I like so many plecs, leopard, inspector, zebras of course, pitbulls. Too bad I like loaches even more :lipssealedsmilie:

I personally like the highfin spotted pleco. Needs a big tank as it reaches 18", but it has some striking markings. Great algae eater.

I currentely have a bristle nose, and anyone who sees him he instantly becomes their favorite even over my angels. I've had him about 5 years and when he passes I will try to find a gold nugget or zebra. Those are both pretty cool, and I'm sure they would really catch everyones eye.

I LOVE my Clowns!
