I currently have a Red Volitan Lion housed in a 55g. At the present time it is not much bigger than a flame angel, although it is growing fast. I would NOT try to put a volitan in anything smaller than a 55g. (Although, it should be in a 75g or bigger) I am in the process of getting ready to set up a 100g tank which will house my volitan, an eel (undecided on which eel I want) and a few other predators. I will then be using my 55g as a reef tank. If you are really dead set on getting a lion with the tank you have I would suggest either a fuzzy dwarf, or a fu man ch like some of the others here have suggested. They will not get as big as a volitan, but I think they have just as much personality as the volitans.
