nah.............................actually if its possible i would get an acuostic guitar to tell you the truth, you would just have to teach her the basic safety rules and such, like dont strum too hard, dont pull the string out toward you... i have a goood training booklet i might be able to mail to you, it comes with a dvd to demonstrate. i also have a few guitar picks to make it a little easier on myself and i suggest you get a pack of those to, but not really hard ones because then the string might get too stressed, and if she shows interest in that i suggest you get a playstation2 (im sure you dont have one because my dad is just like you if im right (your kind of a city boy but you decided to move to the country to get away from the hassle and buscle of city life and found your new life better correct?)and he didnt buy me a video gaming system until i was 8 (but my brother had one so it was all good) anyway after you get the PS2 you should get the game Guitar hero, it teaches proper strumming and it will get her familiar with an electric guitar, then if she progresses with intrest you should buy a cheap little electric guitar.... (that's how it worked for me and i love playin it wit my friends in my down time) just a suggestion
