Short billed corellas, galahs and sulphur crested cockatoos all do their thing....particularly noisy at sunset....not in an annoying way, just a 'it's sunset' kinda way. Crimson, eastern and yellow rozellas are around most days in pairs or small groups, and little bands of lorrikeets zoom though like rocketships at about a foot above head height....must be dodging the radar. I hope your little mate gets all her feathers back soon, cam. Did she pull them out or did they just fall out? Would you like me to phone a friend?

Wow that was a lot of reading
Morning folks
Good to see you G
Just back from the dentist. Don't you love when they hook at you with their little metal hooks and then say your gums seem sensitive.

Hey guys! Nothing going on here today. I'm nursing a sick two year old. He's so pitiful!
Haven't posted a picture of him in a while. This was on January 2.

wow, i just saw a lorikeet for 400$, and they're as common to you as crows to me.

i personally would love a moluccan cockatoo, tho im not sure where they live.

peep ripped hers out. altho senegals dont normally pluck, if they do its when theyre one to two years old (iv heard) which is right where shes at. shes in the "terribles twos" stage of her 40 year expected life :D

Mark-I know I haven't been doing my part. Hubby's been off work for two weeks and the kids have been out of school so it is hard to get computer time! Tommorrow things will get back to normal, hopefully! Did you get to spend much time with your kids over the holidays? How's that pretty little granddaughter doing?

I didn't spend any time with my kids(they are in Texas) but I did spend about 5 days with my 2 brothers and their families and my mom and dad. Did 600 miles round trip across Florida .

yes, i have yet to bring you and your granddaughter cupcakes, mark

Mmmmm cup cake, cup cake, did you say cup cake ?? Thanks but I just jumped on my after the holidays workout wagon so NO CUPCAKES FOR ME .
Anyways, my Daughter and the kids live in Texas,I don't have the privilege of seeing them . :(

Howdy everyone else you guys :)

nice to see you contributing again, khuli :D

thats a darn shame mark, i really wanted to see everyones faces when uncle cam brought his world famous cupcakes through the door :(

mitsy, my friends pittbull puppy paid a visit today. shes really is cute, and im watching her when hes outta town. ill have to borrow a camera to show ya

senegal parrots, like peep, are nomally quiet birds. exept when their kept in proximity with extreamly loud birds, like goffins cockatoos and hyacinth macaws for 7 months of their life, like peep. loudest bird on the fricken planet :mad2:

Mark-That's a shame that your kids live so far away. I'm glad you got to spend time with your brothers and family. I'm on the exercise wagon again too. I had to dust my treadmill and bike off and dig my exercise videos out of the pile of dvd's. I'm so tired of bein tired!!!!! So good luck to ya. Wish I could just go to the gym, I think I would work a lot harder if I wasn't stuck inside this house. But i've got determination on my side.

Chill-Doesn't a routine cleaning make your gums sensitive???hmmmm The last dentist visit for me they said looks like I will have a full set of teeth the rest of my life as long as I keep taking care of them like I have been.hmmm Why would I stop now????? Sometimes I think they say stuff just to be saying something!:evil_lol:

Cam-I still think you should consider something in the veteirnary field. You sure have a passion for animals.
