My forcast for tonight here in South Florida , a tad chill .


Tonight
Clear and cold. Lows around 40. North winds 10 to 15 mph decreasing to 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Lowest wind chill readings 32 to 37 near dawn.

my mom has the flu, and when i woke up this morning my throat was kinda scratchy. think im gettin it as well. she takes vitamins and tries to sleep it off. never worked for me, i stay active and eat foods i like (including homemade chocolate mousse :D). i think its more the placebo effect, but whatever works...

all the pets are doing great, quails are eating in there new home and using all the hidey holes i made them.

but i caught my pinkie finger in the pocket of a coat hanged up, and bent it up real bad. whats weird is that its shorter than the other hands, not sure if thats normal. nevertheless it hurts. man, i can imagine the push-ups id have to do if i said that to my old wrestling coach...:lipssealedsmilie:

random cat appeared on my doorstep last night, kinda weird considering i live on fifteen acres of bobcat/ giant-@$$ owl infested land. after the sceptical family went to bed, i set her up a little shelter in the bushes. guess im a pushover...:silly:
 
I know it's cold there, Ms Radar, but it's just too warm here to be civilized. You're all welcome to come and visit as long as you're happy to take us as you find us. Big wind from central Australia today (desert). Red dust clouds and unbearable heat.
But I love my backward little town.

Greg-I hate the cold but I can't stand being to hot either! The one good thing about it being hot is you can always jump in a pool to cool off.
Here's what were looking for as a matter of fact it is the exact one we're looking at. Three bedrooms, two full baths. It's a little over 2000 square feet.

what do you mean "civilized"? like actual township or do you guys practice uncivilized behavior, such as not wearing clothes...

little finger still hurts, quail are doin great.

almost every tropical plant in my yard is either dead or dying from last nights frost, it was horridly cold today. i wore sweatpants and a thick shirt under my casual clothes, didnt want to look weak in the face of cold weather...

i did manage to throw that cold off my back before it really moved in, which is great because otherwise i would have just taken 8 full strength tylenol and slept for a day or three....

I must move south so i can complain about the heat and run my air conditioner till its as cold as up north..For now ill complain about the cold and run my furnace till its as warm as down south..lol
 
air conditioner is expensive, we have a timer on ours so we can all fall asleep in summer, otherwise we cope with the heat. its not that bad really, i prefer heat over cold
