Hey Tina, sometimes things just happen and I go with it. I put the tank on craigs list for free and it was out of the house in an hour.I just figured I spent alot of time and money and was not enjoying it for what it was worth. The tank was in my bedroom closet and now I will have a bunch more room
It's weird , now that all the pumps are gone it is SO quiet in the BR. I will enjoy the 125 more now Hey Chill, HAPPY BELATED !!!!!!!

We're OK thanks Mark. Nice of you to ask. The closest fires to us are 40 mins away. 130 people confirmed dead thus far, and the authorities are still checking homes in the affected areas. It's doubly frightening because the fires we're deliberately lit, and lit in suburban areas. Our temps were rediculously high with no humidity...animals dying.
Temp peaked at 47.8C (119F).
Sadly, in the far north of the country wet season rains have flooded vast areas and people are stranded. They're relying on helicopter drops of food, etc. Lots of dead livestock, and now salt water crocodiles are on the scene.
So, drought/fire relief progams in the south and flood/dengue fever relief in the north.
Good to see you all still on deck here. I hope you're OK Mr Chill.
Don't downsize too soon Tina. You can bring the spare tanks to my place when you all come to stay.

Mark-I totally understand. I hope the couple that got the tank really enjoy it.
Greg-Hope you and your family stay safe!!! I don't know if you can call what i'm wanting to do downsizing, actually it will be upsizing to one big tank. The thought of devoting my time to just one tank is very appealling to me.:thm:

are the drought and floods of australia a natural occurrence gone awry, or has this not happened in previous years?
if i do any downsizing it will probably just be the convergence of several tanks.in the end, wherever i end up, i imagine ill have saltwater and freshwater shrimp breeding setups, one saltwater display and one fresh.
