Yes, but Bien is so over used, actually I used to get very confused because three of my best friends, (two sisters and a brother) family was from Puerto Rico, most that I learned came from them (OMG...talk about some good food!!!) anyway, Spanish is spoke different I found depending on where it comes from. I would be at work and one of the guys (from Mexico) would say something to me that I didn't know, I would go and ask one of them what it meant....they would tell me something to say back to them usually..but the words were different sometimes.
Her Mom was wonderful, when she would be here visiting....she really did not speak English well, but to me she would always try, I was the only person she would even TRY to hold a conversation with in English (Yes, I felt special)
