Every time Radar drops in she's cooking. She's got the luckiest family.....Nerida's a brilliant cook, but she hasn't done those apples!

I bought some Knight gobies once - put them in with Colmbian Sharks - big mistake. The Sharks enjoyed the meal though.

Last night was a drag, burying a dog in the freezing rain. Someone hit her and never even stopped. Then I blew a fuse rigging up a light to see what I was doing so I could dig in the dark. Of course the panel box was not marked so finding the bad fuse was a chore. I had a Tim the Toolman moment, after I had tried every fuse, and checked and rechecked every cord, and was thoroughly soaked, it suddenly hit me that it was a GFI, doh! I hate those little brain dead moments. After I got that resolved I spent the rest of the evening consoling a devastated nine-year old.
So hoping for a better day today.

Oh chill i'm so sorry about your poor dog!!!! I had a cat that was hit by a car with my (then) eight year old daughter on the porch watching. It was horrible!!! I buried him in the back yard and the bells from a close church was ringing the whole time. It was so sad. It's hard digging with your eyes full of tears!

Greg-Just in case you do decide to go with bettas in your small tanks, I found this thread that has a great article in it (from Lupin)about them. Hope this helps.

Awww chill I'm so sorry for the loss of your pet. I hope your son is feeling better today,it's heart breaking to watch a child in pain,maybe dad could go puppy shopping with him in a few days.I found that it helps a little to get over the loss.
Well ky I thought we were really in for some snow,it rained all day and then the news was talking 4 to 6 inches,but all we got last night about 9:00 or 10:00 was a dusting barely covering the ground.(thank goodness)I Hate It !!! :evil_lol: I think I'm going to move to Florida. Did you get any snow at all?
