I so wish I had a yard to dig in . I have 6 acres in North central Florida but live in a condo in South Florida. I can't financially live on my property , there is no dwelling there and my work is definately anchored here.. Maybe someday I can move to my property , not sure , just day to day for me.
I do yard work at where I work , gives me the fix I need to keep in touch with the land.:werd:

Oh , Hi Greg .

Hi everybody!

Mark-I would go nuts in the summer if it wasn't for my yard. We have five acres here. I mostly take care of the front part. With the grandson it's hard for me to do the rest. Which I hate it because I just love to mow. I think it's because it's my quiet time!!!:evil_lol: I have my houseplants to keep my hands dirty in the winter but there's nothing like breaking a good sweat in the yard. :thm:

Greg-Spring is definitly close!! We had some pretty bad storms yesterday. It's cold today.:headshake2: Everything is greening up nicely. And my allergies are giving me what for!! I don't feed my angels live food. I feed them flakes, shrimp pellets every day and frozen brine shrimp twice a week. They also steal the algae wafers from the plecos if I don't put them in at lights out. They are total pigs!!lol

i fractured my elbow yesterday

how r all u doing

Omg! How did you do that? So sorry to hear. I hope it don't take long to heal. What a bummer!

Cool ky , didn't know you had such a large yard !!!!!!!! I used my dads tractor to cut my land once , that was fun . I have a guy cut it for hay so I can get the agricultural exemption otherwise the taxes would be $$$$$.
I would love a vegetable garden to putz with , that would be fun. I grew a few when I was a kid in the yard .
I did plant a few oaks on the prop about 20 years ago and they are getting quite large now. I wish I could have planted more but there were cattle on the prop then and the hardest part of planting the trees was to build a fence around each tree.:(

If you look under the trees you can see the fence still there that I built. Those trees were about as tall as the fence posts when I planted them :)

Hello everyone else :)

Those trees are gorgeous!!! I so hope you do get to live on your land someday! Any thoughts on what kind of house you would want on it?

Not sure what kind of house I could afford :) Not like these, they are a couple more neighbors , they don't border my prop , they are about 20 acres to the south, Ocala country club .

i got fifteen acres here. lemme tell you mark, nobody can put you down if you have land, even if you dont live on or near it. one day your gunna have a big ol house full of raspberry bushes there. my dad does that stuff all the time, he'll just buy a lot, wait til the markets right, build a house, then sell it

i think i confused a few conversations on that one :D

There are blackberry bushes all along the fences :) Wow, 15 acres is nice , we need some more pics !!!!!!!
