Sounded like more than a quarter stick of dynamite. BIG firecracker. They did a few more after that one , they were the loudest ones I ever heard in the neighborhood.

wow, went outside today and it just felt...epic. the sun was shining, the sky was black with storm clouds, but there was only a slight drizzle and the sound of distant booming thunder. the leaves of the palms glistened in the few rays of light that shot threw the grey overcast. the mosaic tile pool, still as if glass, and the overgrown patches of brush gave even a modern lanai an ancient look.
its a tv show on the science channel, not sure if its on anymore. it might sound like a boring show, its literally just scenes from different parts of the world as the sun rises. no talking, just short descriptions of the area. different views of mayan ruins or forest caves in the early morning. high octane, no. relaxing, yes

Not to bad here just nice to be able to turn off the ac and open the windows/patio door. Looked like a big ole massive front coming but as usual they fizzle once they get here.
