I have a 29 gallon tank, with 3 fish, all lake mawalian (sp) african cichlids.
1 acei
1 Red devil
1 electric yellow
Half of my tank is rock, the other half is sand. Tonight I noticed that my acei is over in the sand, and real close to it, and it appears that he/she is swimming as hard as he/she can at the glass. It starts up against it, so it's not like its getting a run at it. It throws sand around which looks cool. Is it seeing it's reflection and trying to get at itself?
Is there anything I can do/should do?
Also, is my tank overstocked? The guy at the fish store told me I could probably get up to 6 in my tank. They are all probably 2 inches long, and seem to get around pretty well. They chase eachother some, but don't really bite at eachother.
