Have you ever tried the NLS exclusively? You will probably get even better results with color, health, etc. if you cut out the others for a trial period.

Does NLS offer frozen foods? Looks like that is what he is using, probably too much of it as well.
So you don't vary the diet of your fish with frozen foods? I can't get my corys to spawn without frozen bloodworms, I'm sure there is a more to it than "mostly water."
Thank you for bringing that up. There are many fish out there that need certain triggers to spawn. These may include water level, temp, diet, and other things. For these animals, when it is time to trigger breeding, foods in addition to the NLS used to get them into spawing condition may be needed.

Feeding frequency does not dictate water change schedule. It is feeding amount in total that can affect the need for water changes and filtration. Three smaller feedings can actually be much cleaner than one big feeding.
