Lost a lot of my fish

So sorry to hear about your loss! I know the feeling, all to well. I had that happen, and I lost a lot of my favorite fish as well. It really sucks!

Rough loss..never had an issue with Marineland heaters in 30 yrs....

Oh, man, what a horrible loss, I'm so sorry!

I'm experiencing some heater trouble myself right now- a cheap heater that won't raise the temp above 70F in my betta tank. I had to temporarily transfer my betta and otos to the 20 gallon until I get a more reliable heater. It's so true that smaller tanks are more difficult to keep stable, temp-wise. I'm half-tempted to keep them all in the 20 gallon, but I'm also paranoid about bioload, lol.

I had the same problem several years ago with a Jalli titanium heater. My tanks are in the basement which gets very cold in the winter. I was gone for a few days and the water went down to 54 degrees. I really wonder if Marineland is going to reimburse for the loss of fish. Good Luck

So for a news update. I just got off the phone with marine land, all I can say is great customer customer service. They are going to cover all my loss of fish, and the are sending me a replacement heater. They offered me the new design of the heater, or a visi-therm deluxe heater. So I have lost that sour taste for marine land and will continue to use there products.
