:cry::cry::cry::cry:
I lost my last little gudgeon today.
For those of you who know me, you may remember my quest for peacock gudgeons. I finally got 3 over the summer, while visiting a friend in TN. After bringing them all the way back to PA, 2 of them were killed by my dads betta fish, who was temporarily in my tank. I managed to get the betta to a separate tank before he killed my last little female.
Then, a few days ago, she stopped eating. I kept hoping she was eating after lights out, since I feed the kuhlis bottom feeder tabs and frozen foods before lights out.
Finally, today, I noticed she was acting listless. Not having a QT tank, I put her in the baby net with the baby guppies. I put frozen food in, and even hoped she might take a baby or two.
A few minutes ago, I fished her out. Another fish for my freezer, and I am really upset.
I even just ordered 3 gudgeons from Mgamer, since I was afraid she was lonely.
