Cygnus,
Probably one of the coolest parts of getting live rock is discovering phyla you have never heard of. It's cool, isn't it.

Mak,
Your pix aren't so bad themselves. My camera is a Canon PowerShot G3 (now they only make the G5), which gives me 4 megapixels and a lot of things I can adjust. I am still learning a lot, but what has helped immensely are:
1. Use a tripod for everything.
2. Use the tank lighting, unless it's absolutely necessary to use the flash.
3. Bracket exposure like crazy.
4. Do a final adjustment of brightness, contrast, intensity, gamma, and sometimes color balance in photoshop or photopaint.

:) That's a good idea... We should've done that a while ago, though, since unfortunately at this point I don't need/can't fit any more live rock into my tank. But if I ever upgrade my tank to the next size up, I'll definately let you now. I imagine that would save quite a bit on the shipping. Hope all is going well with your tank.

I purchased Atlantic Rock and it was covered with Aiptasia. I found out most rock from the Florida coast does. Stick with Hawaiian, it's less than a dollar a pound and looks awesome.

hahahahhaa dude where did you even find this!
