Luminous Earth Aquarium - 1-gallon Planted Nano

Very nice! That's exactly what I've been planning - take on of my many glass vase/bowls and plant a single crypt. The crypt is able to pull focus from the glass colors, making them an accent to the plant. Awesome!
 
It's nice and simple anyway, and looks great. Here is a second shot showing the setup with about one cup of gravel added.

I just might throw a plant in there for my Mother in law. What kind of plant is that? Does it need CO2?

It's a cryptocoryne, possibly lucens... No co2, low light tolerant.

Thank you fishycat I'm going to check my LFS next week when it gets here. And sorry for doing this on your post hydrophyte it's that it's an awesome bowl so I ended up ordering one. lol
