tightening it worked, however i am nervous to see if i can control the flow of gas or not now, thanks for the reply.

well, turning that blow off valve that i have pictured allowed gas to seal the unit thus not shoooting out the side now. I have a pressure reading on the high gauge. The problem now is that i think i may have turned it too much because now when i use the needle valve it goes from off to 3 billion bubbles per second, really frustrating. im gonna play around with it, i already ordered a new regulator anyway from rex griggster.
Those needle valves are pretty soft, if it ever got overtightened it will do that. Sorry to hear....
