MAFIA 10: Vampires!

I vote to stick a stake into charlie stubbs

1) I think he is playing a little different this time.

2) I also think that by asking for my first vote is a way to have a smoke screen, maybe not. I think guilty players have done this in the past.

3) Either way, he has not posted much. Maybe he is busy.

4) Ogre voted for him. That has to mean something.

This vote is subject to change.

bolding above is mine...and JL, you've played enough games to know that any vote from anyone doesn't mean much more than a random suspicion, especially this early in the game. Why would you try to lend credence to suspicion of CS based on a vote from Ogre? Why should he know any more than anyone else?

Sorry about wcol, I saw he had posted twice after the morning and assumed he was still playing.

And, I was now able to view charlie's most recent posts. Weird. I don't have a target and he's as good as any for now. I'll try to read again during my conference period... don't tell the IT team.

As a corollary...JL is basing his vote for CS partly because Ogre voted for him, which "has to mean something", even though ogre states "well he's as good as any for now." Flawed logic, very uncharacteristic from you JL.

Nice to see I am not the only person who felt RB's rambling was completely unnecessary, confusing and rather irrelevent.

It seems to me that there might be a question or a point in there someplace...I just have no idea where :D

Maybe he'll come back in a while and clarify.

ah good call. Man this is tricky!

so, going back over the rules as best as I can understand it, we're pretty safe in assuming GGF is a villager, correct?
yes, for now but I agree, she does make a super candidate for turning.... except, she isn't the best player here and is likely to add a slip up..... but then again, isn't that her MO?

he also stated in the very beginning that he'd be voting for anyone that roleplayed first.... adding to the reason is peculiar if you ask me.

still waiting on rb's response.

as of now, I revoke my vote to stick a stake in guppy

This caught my eye also.....keep in mind that Ogre votes 'just to shake some trees,' which says to me that he realizes that he's really not got much on Chas at this point. For JL to use Ogre's reasoning for casting his own vote is pretty interesting.

At least until Tonight she is. But you have to admit that makes her a good candidate for a turn.

Based on the kidnapper description, GGF would die (along with the kidnapper) if hit tonight. While GGF now makes an attractive candidate for a turn, it would likely come sometime after she's out of the kidnapper's custody. Or, the vamps could hit her tonight and take her out along with the kidnapper, but then they don't get the free increase in numbers that they would have gotten otherwise. Guppy will probably be an innocent until at least night 3.

Oh my head......So yeah, we lost a bunch of people for what? Lack of effort....greeeaaaaat....

I noticed the CS-Ogre connection as well when reading up to this point...I just don't want to mistake power roles for Vamps....Any feelings from people on why they're in an evil allaince and not a good one?

I meant JL-Ogre...Sorry brain still firing up...

Ok, gotta go to work, but I should place a vote...So far, the logical choice for me is:

I vote to put a stake in JL.
