I'm glad to be back. And yeah, like I said, I will be much more able to be consistently participate than in earlier games.
Thanks >.<
Clarifying was probably a bad word. I was more looking for him to explain it a little bit more, and what he answered was what I thought he meant, I was just wondering.
I thought that maybe, possibly, if you reallly wanted to stretch it that complications in the game could cause some chaos for scum to hide behind. His answer was the one I expected, and was a perfectly acceptable explanation, but if he would have tripped over himself or given a strange explanation, he would have been much more suspicious.
Have you never seen a player use sarcasm? But yeah, it was just a joke.
"What he answered was what I thought he meant, I was just wondering."
Pir, your answer "sounds good" but I don't believe you.
I think you were either trying to make Neph seem suspicious to us or maybe prod him into a flustered response you or others might find suspicious... or possibly just asking a question you didn't really question just pretending to appear helpful.
If you honestly wondered what Neph meant or if Neph wanted to hide behind chaos, I think you would have asked him to clarify his original statement
in the context he made it.
Here is Neph's original post.
At least I didn't show up 10 mins before the vote. Rock on guys.
My starting vote is for rbisbop.
That'll probably change. This is an interesting game. A lot to keep track of. I like complications.
The "that'll probably change" part referred to his vote.
The last 3 sentences were talking about this particular game. And I think when we read all 3 statements together, Neph's meaning was clear.
The thing is, when you asked Neph to clarify, you didn't include the full content in your quote.
Why did you prune Neph's remarks from this:
"This is an interesting game. A lot to keep track of. I like complications."
To just this:
"I like complications."
Maybe it's just me, but that doesn't look like an innocent question, even though that's what you say it was.
