Well now... I reread the game with the current known folks in min, but the only thing I can think of that's changed from my point of view is that Neph was sincere... an that doesn't guarantee correctness. DD being a Towny PR mean that she was honest on her thoughts about me and not trying to get a reaction. I didn't suspect her at all anyway (though I did inquire an think about what would be if she was evil). I still think that Rich's Vote/Post comment was a slip up when working with Bally, but I'm also thinking that Dun has been completely useless so far, and that he changed his mind about his actions way to quickly. I think he may have been advised to do so by the scum team (making him scum).
Just putting those thoughts out there. Also, I think that Kashta is playing an abnormal game, as she has targeted two people who are liable to crack already, and has been short tempered (or I think she has) since the game started.
I'm a mind reader, didn't you know? But what I meant by 'her thoughts about me' was that she wasn't just trying to get me to go wild defensive. Which in turn means that she really did mean what she said.
Please quote a post where she says she doesn't suspect me... from what I recall, I was far from cleared in her books. In fact, I believe she voted me day one, though I wasn't relevant to her day two I doubt her thoughts changed much.
FF, I'm not trying to pick on you but feel this should be said.
Whether it's me, DD, or someone else... vets are going make observations about you or ask you game-related questions. (That applies to you and other players with whom you identify closely on personal basis as well... like pir, bally, and so on.) This does not mean they are out to "get you," either for game reasons or personal ones.
In several of your posts, you are coming off as paranoid and a tad sensitive to posts made by others (mine included) even when they just mention your name. When any player demonstrates defensiveness in the game, it's gonna draw suspicion their way. And if you are innocent and you react defensively, like you're holding a grudge from outside the game, or like you have a chip on your shoulder... it's going to be misinterpreted in a suspicious way. And that will hurt the town.
I realize I tend to come on strong and yesterday my posts were probably too flippant for any mafia game. If that upset you, I am truly sorry. I have very little time to play mafia at all and even when I am at the site, I cannot immerse myself in this thread long enough to even review the posts I want to look at much less worry about how I phrase something or wonder if it might hurt someone's feelings from a personal standpoint. It's going to be that way for the whole game. A lot of my posts are going to just be quick one-liners I post in a hurry while I am also doing other things not related to this game.
As for seeming short-tempered to you, let me assure that I'm not angry or upset about anything or anyone. And I really mean that. At the same time, I am stressed trying to keep up with everything all at once. I also admit I'm fed up with some of the drama that happens game after game. But I also don't feel I have to hide this or pretend everything is just dandy when it isn't.
Mafia is rough game to play for a lot of people. Some posts that seem harsh may just be a reflection of the poster's personality or even a tactic to gauge the response it draws (sometimes from other players who are not even the one addressed in that post). When you see this from anyone, just remain calm and respond with composure. If you suspect there might be an underlying motive behind it... that's great. Pay attention to it because there
might be. But don't automatically assume that
must be. And don't base all your judgments on that single factor because this could distort your view of the game and our view of your role in it.
