Swayde, I'm glad that I am at least 'appearing' to be helpful... Since you were calling folks out for their participation, I took a quick look through your posts to date. Here I've listed the 'fluff' posts....posting to post. There were a handful of actual game posts (not included here), but these fluffers make up the vast majority. Based on these posts, I don't think that you're as involved (or helpful) in this game as you might think (or would like others to think).
You're also questioning why more folks haven't voted...probably because they're still kicking on doors. You seemed to park your vote on DP (a pretty safe choice, whether he's guilty or innocent) pretty early.

I didn't claim to be helpful. I've been tricked by every single person in this game at least once, aside from the newbies. Some of you had me thoroughly fooled, especially you, DD, Jpappy, Ice, JL, CS. Others I've read wrong, but was never sure of their alignment, so it didn't shake my confidence as bad.
I am doing my best though. If there are 9 townies vs. 8 mafia...those are fairly good odds of lynching a bad guy. But then there are 5 special roles, so basically there are only 4 townies if the estimates on mafia are correct. So someone screaming their innocence, such as JM, looks real suspicious. I personally want to be darn sure I don't follow someone onto a train that ends up lynching at best a townie, but more likely due to odds, a special role. I'd like to actually go with my strongest suspect in light of evidence, not what everyone else thinks is the strongest suspect.
I find DP's behaviour odd. The fact he had the time to make several posts in the morning, but not even say hello in this thread is VERY suspicious. And then his explanations really don't hold much water. So I've seen no reason to withdraw my vote from him, only more assurance that it's in a good spot. The last time I saw him act this way, he was in fact a bad guy and the vote I placed on him paid off big time, as far as I know, that was the only game a bad guy was actually lynched on day 1.
Most of the people who haven't voted yet, really aren't kicking in doors either. What better way to get someone's attention and kick in their door, then them seeing their name mentioned? Yes, I could be voting on more people, but I don't really see anyone else as suspicious as DP is. I'd rather be sure about my vote than to just go with the flow. And I really do worry about people who manage to go seemingly unnoticed because the last few games I've played the people I felt were most helpful and felt good about, ended up being bad guys =/
So yeah I am going to go with DP for now, I suspect he is mafia, moreso than anyone else at this point in the game. I will continue reading every single post, looking for clues, alarms and funny feelings, and I will vote and comment accordingly. And if I am bored, you'll see more fluff posts from me because half the time I really don't have anything better to do
But I am definitely not going to be trusting anyone this game unless their is solid proof of innocence. Trusting people leads me wrong a lot more than suspecting people =/
Ok, I have never played with Jensons before..is this her "normal" play. Post a bunch of "fluff" post, disappear, not add anything to the game then come on and vote someone for what seems to me "weak" reasoning?? Yes, I realize her vote is on me so I may seem bias here...but does her reasoning really merit a vote?
IMO, there are much better suspects then myself.
I have been thinking about the "newbs" and ones I haven't played with before and wondering how I was going to read them. If I understand she has played before and that would mean she knows the game, so her "style" of play seems a bit odd to me.
I would like others (who have played w/ her before) to comment to me on this please.

Lets see she names JM-for adding her to her "list", Dp-because if he is mafia could be dangerous...although he will most likely be taken out or die UD, so really not all that dangerous at this point, Myself for pointing out about the avatar, and a question I had to DD..which was answered and dropped, sorry but this is a game about "minor inconsistencies" and major ones as well.
The rest of the post is back to "fluff" then say's it's between me and Jmax.
For her "reasoning" I'd say neither of us would be a good choice (and I voted Jmax), from reading her post it would seem DP to be the best candidate. But again to each their own.
So did I not answer fittingly to your post?? Since you made no comment about what I had to say and just voted me I guess not. By all means you should vote for who you think to be Mafia..your reasoning just seems very "off" to me.
Is this "good luck" on your first post to wish us luck because you feel Mafia will win this round? It did strike me odd when I first read it..most folks say things like "lets get some Mafia" or something on that line..but good luck just sounded odd to me.

Here is the thread that I made mention about, at the time really meaningless but glad I noted it now, since it made her suspesisous of me. She said she had a Peter pan Avatar when in fact it is not. Were you so busy trying to figure out your role and how you were going to post you didn't even remember your own avatar?
Oh, but she does have Tink in her sig...well she did remember something about herself I guess.

Alot has happened today! No more Heroes chit-chat on this thread! (don't say anything about tonight's epdisode, it's on in a few minutes here. (hurray!)
Anyway, back to the game:
JM: I am flattered to make your mafia list, but I'm not seeing it. I haven't played in so long, I might as well be a newbie.
But....You are all soooo caught up in how people have played in the past. Now, I'm not saying that it's not valid, but really. We're all pretty intelligent people. It makes sense that people will evolve in their game play and style. I have seen changes (if subtle) in the way a few people I played with a few months ago have done so. Social drama at its best (or worst!)
About DP: If mafia, and silent, very dangerous. It can be a great tactic to keep one player "goofy" (for lack of a better term) and below the radar.
About LadyG: The questions you choose to ask confuse me. I don't know why the avatars were important, or the bit about the thred being a sticky forever. These seem to be random points to put focus on minor inconsistencies that have nothing to do with the game.
Clown-lover: OMG! Another new hero!!! hehehehehe!!!!! I'll start a new thread in GCC to chat about the latest developments. No one else I know watches the show.
Mad, Ogre, JL, Hooked, Charlie and the rest of the old vets: Do grudges really live this long? Do suspicions never die? I love watching the haggling, it's almost better than watchng Cheechoo take a swing at a stinking RedWing!Almost.
So right now, I'm stck between an OMGUS for JM, just for putting me on the list, and LadyG, for just striking the wrong chord with me. I will decide by bedtime tonight.

Also, although I posted yesterday, I was only home in the morning then back at 12. When I left that morning, my 15 year old cat Cinder was run over... He died in my arms when we arrived at the vet :cry:. If anyone is "suspicious" enough to ask for proof or call me a lier, I can give you a pic of him. I only really got to post after I got home, mostly at 2, after I was done burying my cat (Took 2 hours because I dug up my dog's grave twice, he was big :uhoh.

I guess if you were skimming or paranoid you would take it that way. I knew exactly what he meant when he said that and just for clarification I asked my 14 yr old to read it and ask who the last line was talking about and she said DP.
I agree with that list and would even add DC. There is a post where he tries to explain what LG means. Why bother she can do it herself. I think it was protection.
This whole post is a weak attempt to put suspicion on to someone else. I have so many suspects right now I don't know who to vote for.
As for pocket mafia. Its usually a bad idea to hold one in your pocket unless you know for fact the others as you go along. But using pocket mafia with DP is different. He most likely will die a UD at some point in this game, from past memory its the 2nd nightfall. So if he is going to UD and the odds are we lynch a mafia at nightfall I see no reason to waste my lynch vote on DP.
For now and until the rest of the days events transpire
