I was asking dd that becuase of her previous post. To expalin what i was asking.. if DD knows that LG is not the detective, and the doctor and detective are the only two that know who each other are, the only way for dd to know for sure that LG wasnt the detective was because she was the doctor. That is if I was to believe DD when she said "I know she is not the detective".
 
Just from reading this exchange since night fall I'd have to say I believe LG over DD. LG was more on my radar but today DD caught my attention.

The thing that worries me is that what if they are both mafia acting as the DET. If either one dies and shows mafia then the other one goes through the game innocent until the real DET comes out. If the real DET came out now we'd be screwed.

I'm leaning away from that for now though but want to keep it in the back of my mind.

I vote to lynch DD


I like LGs responses better.

or DD could be claiming that she's the detective... (and technically the mafia could know also, but DD probably wasn't admitting to being mafia at that point :) )
 
If DD is mafia DON and LG is telling the truth then Ogre and Blue are for sure mafia.

In the interest of full disclosure, this is driving me nuts. I read one post that says she's the det, and I think, "Yeah, I can see that." Then I read the next post that says something isn't right and I think, "Yeah, I can see that too."

So you investigated DD first and she's a Don.
You did not investigate blue, jensons, or clownlover, even though they are your top suspects?

You investigated people that are hard to read...

I can see that. I don't think I agree with it, but I can see the logic behind your plan. We have plenty of time, so let's work this out and decide, as a town, if we should follow LadyG.

To be honest, as I write this, I'm leaning more and more her way. I still think discussion is better than a lack of discussion, so I'll keep my vote where it is for now.

Ok, first yes, I do still blue to be mafia...that has not changed.

I was going to go with the ones on my list first, but I decided that there wuld be time for that...I first wanted to know, if I could trust DD and one other person that I would like to trust if I can and DD is the hardest foe me to read and the hardest to build a case around, so I investigated her first off, I am pleased and glad to know I can trust my second choice. As I said, I am not going to reveal this person...as much as I want to, because I would love to declare their innocents. I can't do this at this time.

I know the town is safe for one more night since I have DD, believe me I was VERY surprised when she came back Don wasn't really expecting that!
I understand, and respect your reservations in believing me...as each game I have played, where someone came out I felt the same way.

Yes looking back I should of waited until after nightfall, but it was driving me crazy, and I was freaked...I don't know for some reason I just had this split second scare and freaked, I can't explain it I just did.

I believe you... more and more.

Thing only thing that worries me would be you taking the name of the one person that we know we can trust when the mafia go after you.

I'm tending to side w/ LG also... I wouldn't worry about your scenario yet, Ice. If not detective, LG wouldn't know DD was Don, as the other mafia team shows innocent on investigation... LG and DD would have to be on the same team for that info to be known.

After outing DD, LG would not be able to provide any positive mafia IDs other than those on her own team. It's unlikely that she'd name her entire team.... As the mafia is all around us (likely 7-8 mafia v. 7-8 townies?) chances are that she'll find more.... If she hits a real dry spell in finding other scum, I'd say we could worry about your scenario.

Again, I can understand the worry about believing me. I am not trying to fool you Ice, IF we were both mafia and trying to do this do you really believe we would pick the Don to try it with?

I just wish we could go to 24 hours so I can find out my next one!

I will answer whatever question as best I can...but I was just checking in for a minute, and didn't want to leave these questions unanswered.

I have to go for now and get the kiddies off to bed...I will be on later and answer any remaining questions.
