I have personally decided to take a HN or stronger approach this game and confronting people directly.. If that gets me lynched so be it but its a hell of an idea that this passive play thats going on now.. And if people don't like it to **** bad.. At least I'll try to get information out there that will allow us to make better decisions instead of running in circles.

Here's the thing, CL. We're talking about you voting for yourself...not exactly the best information-gathering tool in a townie's arsenal.

Do you remember a few games back when Chas proposed killing himself as an innocent? You were scum then, and you were all over that, actually used it as your reason for helping lynch him. So how has voting yourself now become a method for gathering info? Seriously.

On Day 1, when an innocent is lynched (which is most of the time), the blame rarely ends up on anyone's doorstep. It's too early. IMO voting yourself is always scummy. If you were doing it on Day 4, I might find it slightly less scummy, in that if you are lynched and show innocent, the folks voting you might actually be held somewhat responsible.

I can't believe that you believe voting yourself would provide any useful information....It just seems really defensive to me.

I am starting to wonder about you Sploke...hmmm..something is not right here..all you really seem to be doing is just popping into the game at intervals so people can see your taking part, but not really posting much of substance or door kicking / bush shaking...What you also keep doing is making comments towards to..Its almost as though you are working as a team with others passing messages to you to tell you what to do...Some examples follow.....

I'm not ready to throw a vote his way yet, but I agree DD, that exchange did raise my eyebrows a few times. I think the vote will definitely get some attention though.

A comment towards me, yet you have not posted exactly your thoughts, just what others are saying. This is why i feel someone is pulling your strings.

holy crap. as usual from the time i leave work to now, things blow up and go crazy.

Right now I gotta say my highest suspicion is Niko. I'm not sure if he's trying to play coy or what, but I feel like he's running us around in circles every time someone asks him a question. I'm going ot wait til tomorrow to vote because i need to revisit all this stuff between cl and coler, but barring something big, thats where my vote will be.

And again, no posts in between this one or the last, and you simply just pop back into the thread and re-affirm that you find me suspicious, yet no substance in your post...

Alarmed? I thought it was really helpful, to isolate the back-and-forth between those two. I know it saved me a lot of trouble anyway.

My concern about niko is that he was never really answering questions, just giving these little contradictory, cryptic hints. Not being straightforward, or looking like you're purposefully trying to be coy or cryptic, does no one any favors.

Again, all your doing is popping back on the thread to re-affirm your thoughts about me...a pattern is starting to show here...

This is coming across as a very scummy tactic, which is why i think your communicating with team mates and they are telling you what to do...

For the moment, i vote to lynch Sploke (subject to change of course)

The 1st reason is his consideration of a pre-emptive lynching of Blitzen. Secondly, the fact that he voted for himself seems really defensive to me...his explanation that his self vote was cast to root out evil just seems too odd to be believed.

Ok well Andi really sticks out to me guys.

She starts the game off saying lets find the grinch and the evil elves.This comes into play.

Ok no lynching Santa's Deer, here is the fun part, find the grinch and evil elves....

HN did i see you admiting to being an elf? However in all technicaly Santa is a elf too...are you saying your santa?

She also asks HN if he is claiming to be Santa.

I ask:

Now why would an innocent want someone to admit to being Santa? Why would you want any power role to show themselves this early?

I'm still leaning towards Niko for my vote but if Andi doesn't come up with a better explanation I might have to put a vote on her.

Thats got to be the worst reason I've ever read. What part of Santa,innocent did you misunderstand?

Unless I find a better suspect my vote stays till you prove to me you're here to help us find the Grinch and not Santa.

HN has played enough not to be so stupid as to put a bulls eye on his head. Goes back a few games agon when Ogre did something simlar. However this time, I dont think HN is confessing a thing. I dont exactly know where to put my thoughts as to this being a move that would help the town tho, I mean...why would he even insinuate he was an elf, I didnt see anything in the rules about good elves.

Andi, can you expalin the discrepancies in your two posts? Seems to me that we have a confused newb that may not be so confused after all.

Every one was jumping on HN about his post, I miss worded in my multi tasking (between work and AC), I was trying to show that just because HN admited to being an elf it did make him evil. I was trying to show that I did not think HN was evil. Sorry for the miss communication.

In this post Blue asks Andi for an explanation between the 2 posts of looking for the Grinch and then her claim of misreading the rules.

Andi completely blows it off and goes on some tangent on how she thought HN was innocent or that her post was supposed to be explaining it.


I'm happy with my vote placement. She has contradicted herself and then avoided a question altogether on the same subject.

Her post about saying HN is innocent doesn't even fit in with her post.
