Ok..I've been thinking about it a lot (too much lol).

Here's where I am : starting from I voted for CL (and it was on reviewing the blitzen mumbo jumbo, I just didn't want to say that for my own reasons).

1. CL came out and said himself immediately that I must be scum and that I started the blitzen nonsense - yes I made the first post mentioning the fellow but the volume of blizen posts from CL was what drew my attention.

2. CL was very ratty in response and looked, objectively, panicked.

3. CL voted for himself...as long as I've played this game here, this is a sign of scum.

4. CL says he doesn't do oh my god you suck retaliatory votes, but ever since I voted for him he has insisted I am scum...if so he should vote for me/come up with something better than 'you voted for me so you must be scum'.

5. Its day one and I have no better suspect.

I do notice a lack of enthusiasm for voting CL however, and whilst I wonder why this is, because nobody has put up a strong case for anybody else, this makes me pause for thought.

I would like to see CL defend himself by showing us pro-town behaviour on his part (there has not, in my opinion been anything pro-town in a serious way), or perhaps anyone who wishes to defend him would do so - I have an open mind.

Note to whoever I was agreeing with on JM probably evil status/possible someone has been made evil; this is absolutely not me turning, this is me trying to put my vote in the right place, and it stays where it lays in the absence of something like a positive defence.

Me thinks they protest too much, this looks like sibling like banter, which leads me to think they are trying to distance themselves from eachother cause thay are on the same EVIL team

That was post #291 and in it I have the quotes that back up my statement, and I've seen CL slide by before.

gotcha, I would have assumed it would do this too but from all other games, I always got the white screen. To get all posts of one person in the thread, I have simply been using the Search tool.

and another thing everyone is so quick to jump on atnixon being evil, but what if he was evil would he act that way? what if he really is playing it that he is innocent but he is keeping the focus off someone else. Or it could be that he is really evil and he is protecting someone.
Coler and CL this could be a plan, they could very well be on the same team, creating cover for the move. Another member of there team could be one of these silent lurkers and getting ready to strike. Or they could just be having fun, you be the judge.

the bolded text is what I have a problem with... Niko tried defending it, I guess saw what he was doing and tried back peddling. Now you go the same route. Didn't he tell you it wouldn't work in chat? Or is it he wanted the votes to come off of him becuase he figured if someone else thought the same as him, it was a mistake. Come on...

ummmm..... talking about evasive from someone who's got 5 posts in 320+ posts total for the game.... 2 of them being the past 2 hours or so. Gup.... do yourself a favor, if you are looking back at old games to brush op for playing, at least learn from them.

Well, guys/gals I am going to try and get caught up on what all is going on. Sorry I haven't been on much at all, with the game starting while I was at work, and yesterday I had sooooo much I had to get done. So I really need to take some time to read through before I post any thoughts.

For the record, my day one history has been to a) vote for the first role player or b) jump all around on voting for people.

At this point everyone really looks evil.

If I had to list my top 7, it would be (in no particlar order):

Coler - lots of posts, highly agressive
atnixon - posting changed mid-day
clownlover - "on" coler and voted for self.
plantling - something seems fishy, gut feeling?
gupman - newb with low posts
KingOfTheDeep - low posts
kuhliloach - low posts

Also, of course I am keeping an eye on Ice, HN, Charlie, DD & Lady G who at this point there is no telling.

There also seems to be a fine line between being too vocal and not being vocal enough. I do not want to vote for someone just because of how many posts they have or don't have.

Not sure about this.... yes, I agree that JM was suspicious in that she had mostly social type posts, to my recollection. I would hope that any reshuffling of roles would occur within the given side (townie or scum), and that nobody would have jumped from good to evil.

I didn't think about RB switching the non-communicating to communicating evil. That would work, and be fair too, I suppose.

Alright this goea out to Plantling post #296 will somone please tell me how and where I am following I have explained my thought and reasons. I was a misunderstanding on my part. But I have also stated that after reading all the posts thus far who some of my top suspects were. I am not a follower I just happen to think out loud.

At this point I have you as a newbie who is trying to be helpful, but Mad answered the comment about following:

Beth, here's the post where you voted for me. The whole thing basically says, 'I agree with Coler, therefore, I second his vote.' That's following.

Evils will try not to lead trains themselves but will wait until an innocent is voted by another innocent, then jump on. Your jumping on so soon after Coler and without much reason put Mad in jeapardy and made you look questionable.
