I have a bad feeling about JP myself. I am not sure where my vote is going to end up this time around, but he is looking very suspicious to me. I know he said he would be busy, through out the weekend and Monday, but it is now Thursday (right LOL) and he STILL isn't helping or posting. Yes, when he post it is insightful, but could easily be made to look that way.
I am going to have to look more into Mad, really I haven't looked much at him..because he just hasn't said or done anything to make me wonder about him, with HN vote on him it made me think about him more..not sure what I think, just that I need to look into him also.
I'd like to see more from JP as well. Mad's style of play has me worried. I can't read him well at this point. My gut says pirate but I'd like to see more comments from those that know him better.
But, LG, I didnt say I had a bad feeling about JP anymore. I said my gut tells me he is a Townie...I did in the beginning of the game think he was a pirate but I did change my mind. Even though we were wrong about RB...he did bring some good points about rb...but that was not the case. Alot of us do go to extremes to try and figure peeps out in the game and the majority of the time we are wrong.
I know you're willing to think he is innocent, but I'm still not so sure. In fact, he is laying so low I'm becoming really suspicious he is the captain the others are protecting. JP, how about talking a bit more? What are your thoughts on people JP?
HN/Mad-I believe one to be innocent the other Pirate. I do not think them both to be either. Not sure which I feel is which though at this moment.
MM/Jpap-Same as above, although with these two I could see distancing. Then if you look at JL, it kinda takes me away from MM. Really I haven't seen her play as Pirate though.
Blue/DD-Both have my interest. Blue more then DD actually, I know that sounds weird coming from me, but I have gone back and forth with her the whole game although her after nightfall post, did raise my suspicion again on her. Blue, I have a feeling is pirate.
Lchap/Mal-I am wondering more about Mal at this point. Lchap keeps my interest, but I keep leaning him back toward innocent each time.
Grins/Lady G-Well, I know what I am, and it is not pirate. Grins, really I do believe to be innocent at the moment too. But the way she came at me like she did...really has me wondering. Yes, I know what Clown's posts said...but still I can't quite get a grip on her outburst toward me for mentioning the possibility.

But I don't see the reasoning behind some of the other pairs/opponents. Would you expand on your reasoning for matching people that way?
Grins, I would ask that you watch away. And please ask some questions so that I can answer. Unfortunately, this isn't the 1st game where I've been accused of being scum just because folks think I would be good at it. It's kind of a hard thing for me to defend against, as with no questions asked, my only response can be 'Thanks, I think...'.

Mad, maybe meaningless and you're both just being polite as I might respond the same way. Or, maybe you're both just in step with one another. I'm putting it out there for the others to decide.
I feel pretty good that we're safe in assuming that Grins is a known innocent. There was one special occurrence on each of the two nights so far...1) botched hit 2) pirate caught and killed. Nobody switched sides.
IMO the only way that Grins wouldn't be a townie is if she were the thief. It doesn't make sense, though, that the pirates would try to assasinate their potential investigator. Grins is the real deal.

am an innocent that peeved off the pirates by playing the role of an obnoxious townie that ran her trap non-stop. I swear I'm surprised that the pirates have not convinced Blue to drive the few hours to Charlotte and duct tape my hands to my sides so I can't type anymore. I would have considered it if I had been a pirate and someone had been this aggressive. Hey pirates, if I had been in your room I'd have been fuming about me. Seeing that I'm not, allow me to say :silly:
Back to LG's theory though, I do agree. The first night was the botched hit on Ice. The second night was JL the pirate being offed by a frying pan. Clown documented both of those, why wouldn't he document another to freak us out? Isn't that what Bala does? Freak us out?

Ooops wanted to add to that, Jmax voted Lchap BOTH nights too, I can see for distancing purposes voting another pirate once, so when looked back at they could say but look I voted for a pirate, I can't be. So actually this eases my mind a little more toward Lchap.

You asked for my reasoning on why I thought Mad was Blackbeard. Mounting a case based on his posts is nearly impossible every game, good or evil. I do ask that you and the other townies look at what's missing from his posts though and think about why they would be. I've been calling him out for a couple days and have even voted for him, but yet he does not directly address my posts, choosing instead to deflect attention. All I can ask is that you and those in the know look at it and talk about it.
