That isn't explaining why you chose to vote for JM at that point when there were others that were posting far less..pretty much absent from the game.

well, imho, i don't think its exactly a tell, either, but skimming serves the town no good, if they aren't paying attention, and reading what is written, they can't actually be looking for guilty, so, its kinda 6 of one, you know
You pretty much answered why skimming is a mafia tell.
They already know who they want to lynch so they use the info they need to lynch and disregard anything else and hope no one looks back to see the context or what was going on around that time.

because skimming is usually done by those who don't need to really know all the details or care about them as much as a townie who is looking to pick up on any clue to be found. When mafia, you all ready know all sides, you don't need to read through everything.
I didn't use any special abilities...any of you could have a second ID and post under it...in fact, at least 5 of you do.....and I admitted I did it, and answered for it, something that Mg didn't do.

Walk The Plank
Poor Beth... The most misunderstood woman of her village.. She slowly walks along the shore pondering the occurrences over the last several days. She just doesn't understand why people always seem to think that she is mafia no matter what tactics she tries. Does she have some kind of Witch sign painted on her forehead for people to mark her for death so early every game?
She has been confronted at every turn, made to defend even the pictures that she displays of herself in happier days sitting by the sea shore enjoying the warm sunshine, the sand and the sound of the ocean lapping at the shores.
Just as she rounds a bend she sees a large portion of the village headed her direction screaming "Make the Pirate Walk the Plank!", "Send her to Davy's Locker!"
Afraid for her life she turns to run only to encounter another group of villagers carrying binding ropes and torches.. She thrashes wildly in their grasp screaming her innocence to everyone who can hear but alas it falls onto deaf ears.
Swiftly the villagers take her to onto a docked boat and row her out into the middle of the harbor chanting as they row.. drowned the pirate, drowned the pirate...
She is blindfolded and made to walk out on a thin beam suspended over the edge of the boat.. Men, women harrass her further and further out on the beam and suddenly she looses her balance and plumets into the cold ocean depths..
As the villagers row back into shore the see her finally sink below the surface for the last time ending her Innocent life.
