Mafia #20 - Pirates of the Carribean the Play

The Pirate Hit

While some of the village was busy at its task, the pirates snuck stealthly thru the waters edge onto shore a victim in mind who if they can find will not be able to track their scent any longer...

They comb the village looking for their intended victim knowing that he wouldn't be in the group that was lauching some poor woman off the edge of a boat for their crimes against the town.

After a lengthy search, they approach their intended victim ignoring the happenings at the shores edge.. As they get closer they hear the villagers approach and expressing their dismay at the Innocence of their intended victim.

Just as they reach for him their lookout makes the bird call that alerts them that their prescence in the village has been spotted and the angry mob is running in their direction hoping to get ahold of Black Beards band of men who terrorize their town.

Fearing for their life the pirates flee as fast as their unshod feet can carry them across the cobblestones of the village to the safty of their boat and quickly row back out to their ship..

Black Beard in a furious rage screams at the top of his lungs "I WILL NOT BE DENIED!"

The intended victim sleeps the rest of the night unaware that he almost lost his life.
 
"Game On" - Day 2

Day 2 will end on Wednesday 12/19/2007 at 8:00 PM Central Time (9:00 Eastern Time for those of you who are Time Zone Impaired.. Bala Junior thinks there is quite a few of these)
 
Yeah...WTG Watchman...great job on saving one of our townies...

And sad we lost Beth. We will find BlackBeard.....
 
We need to go look and see who voted for her. Some of them are not pirates, but there are some who are. Alot of peeps went after her, for reasons I don't see what for. She changed her avatar to something different, and alot jump on her for it. What is so wrong with that. Alot of us have changed our avatars in the middle of a game, and nothing was said about that in previous games. If it was, it was only in light heartedness....
 
Haha they didn't get their hit..

During any one night of the game a lynch or a hit may not happen.

or they didn't send it in or did the Watchman protect the right person.


Sucks though that Beth was innocent. I had a feeling,not that means anything, but her posts looked like she was trying to give her best guess at players.

I don't even think any pirates were on her,except maybe Mal could be. I think she did enough on her own to get herself lynched but no one wanted to give her that much room for error even after todays posts.

I stick with my vote to make Rb walk the plank

I think I actually got lynched for an avatar change but all these games run together, I don't remember if I was good or bad that game.
 
She played like I did in the past. She was defending herself the whole time, and didn't get the chance to prove herself. I think it was LG or JM who said, they know how it feels to be pegged as a bad person (when a person is not). And they try to defend themselves throughout the whole game. And don't have a chance to help or prove otherwise. Some of us townies went after her (not me), I was giving her the benefit of the doubt. And it always happens, we lynch an Innocent.

I am going to keep a close eye on some and more on others...
 
Also MM I don't think as i stated above that pirates were on Beth. Most games the bad guys don't need to be on the 1st night lynch, we usually do a pretty good job of lynching our own.
If anything usually 1 person jumps on to keep a train going. From past games and my own play its usually the 3rd or 4th person on.

Might need to keep an eye on Mad, I'd have to look back but his vote came after voting slowed down on Beth. Mal voted 3rd at 416 right after DD then it was 61 posts and there were no other votes thrown between those 2 votes.

I changed my avatar also in one game and someone got on me for it. I do remember that game (but not which one). And yeah, these games all do run together. And it is sometimes hard to even figure it out. One person plays the same way no matter what, and others get picked as the bad. Even though they are good (even me for example). There have been times when I was a good person and I got lynched because everyone thought I was bad. Not the case. Well, hopefully we will get more readings from peeps in the next couple of days, and then see where it goes from there....

It sucks that we lost an innocent, but the avatar change wasn't the reason I voted and pressed for her. It was her reactions to things.

Maybe that's why she looked so guilty. So, you are playing admittedly different in this game? Interesting.
