Well I had a busy day at work, finally get home and check in here and I must say...I'm disappointed. Everyone's against me for what? Being too helpful? Making a few clerical mistakes in my vote tallies on Day One?

I'm starting to think that the boss found a Mafia-mate last night...And that they are voting in unison. I find it interesting how the players on the top of the suspect lists (RB, DD, Clown and Emo) are all going after me. I'll take this as a sign that they (the two communicating) really see me as a threat this game, and not a threat to the town, but a threat to the Mafia...

Of course, maybe I'm just thinking paranoid like LG...

Any particular reason you left Beth out of that line up you listed?

Because when I reviewed the thread, I didn't see her on as many lists as yourself, and some of the others I listed.

But you're right, it's a distancing tactic. Me and Beth are the communicating innocents, but I won't tell you who's the Mayor and who's the regular ol' innocent. :headshake2:

Pretty simple, I was wondering if the 3 current non-voters are part of the 6 Mafia that are remaining. It's a reach, but at least 2 of them, Lady and Judge have been on others list or suspects, jpap is extremely quiet for just modding a game where he posted more than some of the players.

All three of them have played enough games to realize checking in before nightfall to see how things are going, is beneficial to the town. JMO.

of those 3 i think LG looks most suspicious. The whole thing with DD and her post being deleted was, IMO, blown up. IF dd wrote something she didnt want to be seen it woulda been faster to just edit then go getting a MOD to delete. Seems like LG was just trying to get a train started on DD for something that wasn't that big a deal.

I have to disagree with you here Bkw, yes Ogre may be mafia...but I'm not so sure the boss is a vet, the hit on HN really makes me feel it is not. Yes, IF HN had actually done something to look completely innocent maybe...but I think he may of ruffled a newbs feathers, one that thought he may be innocent and the hit him, I just really do not see a vet taking him out on day one, not knowing...I know if I were the Boss or Mayor I would want him around long enough to figure out what I thought he was for sure cause I would want him on my team. He is one I would investigate before hitting.

Ok, going through HNs post, yes most were joke sounding type posts...but he took stabs at Lchap and Emo alot. Now, honestly I do not see Ice giving the "boss" position to a complete newb...but Lchap, yep I could see this.
HN started the game out switching votes, I took it as "poking fun" at Lchap, could he (Lchap) of taken (or tooken for Grins) it personal?

I'm not really sure on this obviously, but I really could see Lchap taking out HN in retaliation to him picking on Lchap so much. IF we were to take the boss is a newer player in consideration.

I could also see the HN hit being sent in by LG. She dismisses the idea that the boss might be a Vet twice. The whole DD thing and LG tryin to convince ppl that the boss is a newb is enough to get my vote

OK so this is going to be long because I finally have some time to pay attention to this thread and have gone back and looked at Hooked Newbie like I suggested. While all of this is from day one it is very interesting when you put it all together like this. We now know that hooked was a mafia scumbag and I am looking at this through the eyes of who would see it as beneficial to remove hooked newbie from play even without investigating him or finding out who his allegances sided. I think there are probably several in this list.

Most of this above stuff is first day fun but I'm wondering if it isn't tounge in cheek fun and that he is setting himself up for future voting. At this point we are looking at everyone on equal footing as its day 1.

I felt it necessary to include this quote as much was made about the whole deletion of posts.

Here he responds to DD's post.

I again included this because I felt it was needed and have clarified through the moderator that removed those messages that this is in fact the case that those messages could be put back into the thread. And he did assure me that "nothing was deleted that should have stayed in the game".

Here he addresses Jpap and CT

Here he questions LC's vote tally and then removes the question because LC made the correction.

I'm not sure what to make of this post specifically as he is addressing MG who posted two of the few posts he's made that contain any gaming rational in them.

Here he starts digging into Jmax - note that to me this looks like normal HN because he is digging quite a few different players trying to get a read on them (or thats what it looks like to me) and I consider this normal HN play when he is an innocent. He does dig a lot of different players looking for reactions etc.

Here he starts playing with EMO and questioning him.. Again I'm thinking this he is digging for something reactionary..

Goes back to chatting with Jmax because of her replies to his above posts. To me she was awfully defensive in her responses to HN for just a post about what she was doing outside of the AC forums.

Now he starts seeing what Cory Lover is up to.. Again this is a player with whom he has a unique insight as I do believe Cory was the President and HN was one of the men in that game..

Here he is replying to CT who stated that next game he will try harder as he is going that night. And I have to agree with what he posted and was why I personally did not vote for CT. Again he was a newbie and I had written things off as newbie first day mistakes. It was to our benefit that he was mafia when he was lynched but realistically it could have gone the other way as well..

I think here he goes back to having some fun and playing with ICE actually.

Ok so contrary to what LadyG posted earlier (see below for her analysis of HN posting) I think he was digging Lchap and Jmax and DD the most. He did dig emo about his posting saying he thought he got straight A's in school etc (see above). Sout out of the above who do I think would take him out based on his posting.. Well this is partly based on who he was digging but also my insights as to how two of those people play..

Are my choices. I am totally writting off that it was a newbie who took HN out because if they have never played with him how could they know what type of threat he could be if he was an innocent player. They would have absolutely no frame of reference to go from. And from the looks of the newbie players that we have they obviously haven't gone back to read previous games because they are making way to many newbie mistakes to have done so. So with that knowledge I do know that JMax can make some snap decisions about things when she doesn't have a team to support her.. As well as I've seen DD do the same thing. But I'm thinking my final vote is going to have to go to Lchap simply due to the fact of what happened with the night 1 voting. His knowledge of how HN helped him tune his play in the pirates game and KNOWS very well that HN was a very good player that game that found out who the pirates were fairly quickly. That would make him a big threat in this game..

So at this point I replace my vote to lynch LChap.

Wow, if you are going to quote my thoughts it seems you would go with the most recent which were only 9 posts above yours. Yes, the one you quoted was right after nightfall since, I have thought about things more and added my newest analysis which is right here....

OK, here is the post I was talking about from HN, that made me think Possibly RB or DD could be the one who hit him, and why.

I had voiced my opinion on the posts being deleted by a Mod instead of letting Ice deal with it, how he saw fit. Not really sure why he added RBs name...I don't recall him saying anything about it..but the fact he added that in this post, would POSSIBLY give them (either) a reason to feel HN was innocent and want him gone.

I have to say I have thought alot about Lchap and him being the boss, yes...I at first thought maybe and it did make since, but the more I think about it he did play on a communicating team with HN, he knows what a good player he is and I believe he has caught on enough to know he would be a good one on the team with you, and I do believe he would of most likely investigated HN before hitting him. I THINK.

Still think it makes more since for the Mafia Boss to be an newb, then a Vet...but someone and I don't remember who mentioned how it could of been a tactic, this really could be true...they may of thought HN was innocent and wanted to throw everyone off by hitting him....imagine their surprise when they saw he was the hitman though....OH MAN!!!

I was going back and forth between DD and Bkw...but now with this post where you seem to be defending DD, then saying she could be one who took him out, using a past thought instead of the newest from me, add that to the vote thing with Lchap where he flat out proved you wrong I am thinking about adding you to that vote thought.

Bkw just keeps saying how he thinks it was a vet, and something about him just isn't sitting right with me.

DD lots of little mistakes, and post that really make no since, and Clown for pretty much leading ppl wrong.

I agree that I don't think DD was hiding anything, just think the fix she had have gone thru Ice for him to request a Mod to come in and delete it.

Well doesn't look like much has happened while I was out with the relatives today.

Ok so I need a little clarification, in previous games you stated that you could only post at work and could only post at specific times before you guys lost your satelite feed. Now your able to post from your barracks when you could post only from work before?

You making clerical errors is not the only thing making you look guilty but tou are making yourself look guilty. You continue to put the blame on other people. While you may be innocent and if you are I'm going to be sorry that your gone as I think you'd be a valued asset but like I told Ogre the last game when he said why did he always end up in these positions and he was the detective, its your own fault if you look guilty. Period. You only have yourself to blame nobody else. Quit whinning like a baby and make a case for someone instead of sitting there and insisting your innocence or by just coming up with a list and pointing fingers. At this point you are your own worse enemy. If you can find someone that looks more mafia to me than you do I'd be willing to consider a vote change.

I donno. I gave an honest answer...just cause you don't want to accept it doesn't mean others won't see the truth in it. That's all I can hope to accomplish...you'd probably say the same thing no matter WHAT answer I gave you.

Ahh, but you helped change my mind on that one Bkw...LOL you are showing your colors pretty good here Bkw. Sorry, but you are completely off base here, and as far as HN well, there is NO WAY I would take him out night one or any night without investigating him first and for you to think I would is VERY telling to me...so take this as an OMGUS vote if you like, you have made yourself very clear to me....
