Mafia #26: Roadside Picnic the Game

Sorry guys, it has been a busy weekend and I have a lot of homework to do and work later today (I have to miss the superbowl:angryfire:) I promise I will get into the game tomorrow...before nightfall!

After partly skimming (I will admit to that) Ice, Rb, and Ogre have jumped out at me only because they appear most vocal atm...I haven't looked at the posts enough to make a good conclusion though so I will leave that for later...

The hover cycle silently coasts to a stop. As it settles on the saw horses, with a cradle that is home built for it, Big Daddy misses the pops and clinks of hot metal cooling down. But doesn't miss the oil drips....

As he unloads the storage compartment, he marvels at the almost 30 foot coil of copper tubing that he found in the zone. And to think it isn't even registering on the gamma detector, reading safely below 450 mickey mikes above background.

Looks like an easy task ahead for that distillation plant cooling coil to purify water...or maybe something more potent. Big Daddy wonders how well that orange wild corn will brew down...this could be the beginning of a profitable business...he knows for sure that more than a few here in ACville would appreciate some uh, beverage with a kick.

Ok...I was just thinking about something last night. You accuse my post of being lame and un-useful (you basically say that in your post). Could you explain to me how these are not that?:)

Ok, I vote to toss Ogre into the zone.

The slip you made is suspicious. Also, going after me for stating a statement. I think you were hoping to start a train on me, with Coler's help. You guys know people follow your lead alot, so you were hoping they would do the same here.

My vote is maybe subject to change.

OK. I revoke my vote to throw CoryLover into the Zone. No I'm not voting for anyone else right now...

4 is a very common number in the mafia games.

Cory, there's a difference and I think I explained it pretty well in a previous post.

Cory, no one in this game follows my lead... ever. I'm thinking Coler might be a good throw choice as well because of him following my vote.

If I get thrown into the zone, just remember... I'm very suspicious of Coler (for following me). Moderately suspicious of Cory Lover (for reasons previously stated) and Ice because he's gone round the bend. Also moderately suspicious are those that have minimal posts... and should now better: Sway, JMax, John.

A decent stalker team would warn the newbies to post more and try to post more useful information. The fact that none of them have jumped on me (being the obvious easy target) tells me that they are more innocent than not.

However, this does not mean that they are evil. Especially lately, the trend is for evil to stay well out of the first couple of days. Make a few nothing posts and then jump on a train late each day (but not so late as to be the deciding vote).

This makes everyone else look scummy and casts a lot of doubt on the aggressive (i.e. dangerous players). This was used very successfully in our last game.

At this point, I'm very suspicious of those with low (role play NOT included) or no posts. Ice, rb, hooked may be evil or whatever, but they are probably not. Remember that we only have 4 evils out of all of us this game.

I see no chioce but to ride the Ogre train. I think Ogre should just tell us who the other 3 stalkers are. I am guessing at least one of them is a newbie.

The part that really does it for me is that he states "only have 4". Not that we might have 4 or 5 or any room for doubt or error. He states it as a fact.

Ogre is a stalker and has slipped.

I retract my vote for Coler and vote to toss OgreMkV into the zone.

I am very interested in hearing from those that do not think Ogre is a stalker. I think this slip and his weak attempt of an explaination have just about done it.

I know that most of us do not like hoping on a train, but I think this train should be ridden. I will not be changing my vote and I will stand up for my vote. I am voting for Ogre based on Ogre's post.

Oge, I can't buy that excuse because it seems too suspicious that you say the number 4 out there without checking first.

And why throwing out those names? They are in the bottom of posting but the game hasn't really got into full swing. Jmax said something about being sick I think (poor lady is always sick:() and sway isn't always a top contributor along with John...so I am not sure what you are getting at other than putting names out to see who will bite...:confused:

Something just hit me...does this post remind any of you of when bluerat played in the witch game, I think it was...her posts were sometimes confusing and had no point only as a distraction, she was evil as well...hmmmmm...
