Your missing my point. By voting for a possible UD day 1 we protect an extra active innocent. The point is moot now that everyone has posted and possible mafia are in sights. I brought it up for the reason that not much was being said at the time.Without posts it was safer to vote out a UD,especially when there were 5 at the time.

I stand by my detective comment. It is possible to hint to someones innocence without coming out.Especially with 2 teams of mafia. One team might think its the other team clearing that player in hopes that they buy some faith from the town.

You couldn't know. Even the mafia teams couldn't know unless they actually do investigate the player themselves and even then if they investigate that person and they are mafia they show innocent.So as I thought and typed that out I see the point you make. The only 2 that could know innocence would be the player and the Detective themselves. I no longer stand by my detective comment. This is why there needs to be posting,the more eyes looking the better we see.

I know saying anything about the detective is a bad thing but for some reason with the 2 teams I thought we could make it work. I was wrong and admittingly realized it.Those who are bringing it back up after the fact are on the watch list along with the players who can't seem to grasp the thought that alt ids were handed out before the game started.

Funny thing is that it wasn't anything but a comment on how I felt about Pix being picked on. I can't say I am a fan of newbie hunting on day 1.

You must have missed the post where I quoted RB's post count and told mseckman that it looked like her vote for Jensons didn't count. For you to have gone through everything yet again as you said, it's odd that you missed it. You also missed the point I was trying to make about Pix's post counts. Yes, I had mentioned you but the post really wasn't about you. ATM, I am undecided as to this being a sign of jumpiness.

The substance of my comment was to ask Charlie Stubbs how wedded to his idea that people who claim their own innocence are to be lynched. Again, I did not put words in Z's mouth I was asking Charlie a question.

Worst idea ever. I see you have already been called on this, and with good reason so I won't dwell on it but you just moved up my list. There is just no good reason for the Detective to say anything this early in the game. I think you realize that now, but I think you may have shown your hand.

There is a lot of chit-chat that gone turned around and twisted which caused fingers to be pointing at each other blaming people to be towies and mafia and what not. From the previous comments i read, i dont understand why some people are using alt. ids. It doesnt make sense. It would only be fun if everyone used an alt. id. What do this people have to hide? Anyways... they are all proably townies anyway trying to fit in with the mafias. So, I think my first vote is going to be for an alt. id user. I am just not sure who at the moment. I will post tomorrow again after work. Everyone have a goodnight.

Wow i think we all need to get on the same page. I think we need to work at this a little more systematiclly. Right now we are all over the board and it looks like if we dont get on the same page the mafia will be able to better hide.

I think we need to use the tactic from a prior game and vote for just 2 people. With this tactic the mafia will be forced to jump ship to save a friend. if they dont then atleast we forced them to vote off an ally. That will make it one better for us. Now all we have to do is agree on who we think is most mafia and who best to vote for. I think G is but im open to ideas. Anyone else in? OR am i chasing my own tail trying here?

I think the problem with first day voting is that there is so little information to go on that the town can't come to a concesus about just a few players. And if we all piled up on one or two players, what are the chances that both candidates aren't innocent? The plan you proposed may work later on in the game, but not now.
