I kinda see why you say we shouldn't do this but it was the first idea I had myself on how to weed them out. It's very tricky this situation.

Having never broken a weapon due to my superior swordsmanship, I would not know you from Adam my friend.
 
Ice, ask that question after atleast one "nightfall", then I might have some idea after seeing how everyone is going to play it.

I didnt bother trying to come up with ways to out the assassin. I did however come up with a list of DON'Ts as a guideline, ill follow this list until it proves invalid.
 
The way I see it, we have the advantage here. We (the guards), all know who the king is. The fact that there is a vast majority of us means that the king is in no danger of being lynched. The only people the assassin can trick the rest of us into killing are guards. Since we all agreed to die for the king when we took the job, means that it doesn't matter if we get tricked, as long as we don't do something to give the king away: like never voting for him.


What I'm trying to say is appropriately placed votes and retractions for the king may actually be a clever way to help shield that person. I will not suspect anyone for voting for the king.

I don't have a strategy yet for figuring out who is the assassin. For now, I'm going to observe and put stuff out there when I see it.
 
Well, my story telling skills stink so I will just have to stick with the facts. Unfortunately there are not many of them to go on yet....this game is gonna be a tuffy! Got to figure out how to identify the assassin..........
