Catfish, are you really looking for people to weigh in on this question, or was it rhetorical?

IMO it really doesn't make much sense in discussing what everyone thinks the mafia would do in certain situations. Part of the game is trying to outhink the other side. If the mafia thinks that the town would think one way, then they'd likely just do it the other way. With psychology vs. reverse psychology you'd just end up talking in circles.
 
piggy, I don't believe that your vote was on JL. If you're referring to yesterday's vote, votes don't carry over to the new day.

Seems a little odd to me that you'd say you were maybe wrong about JL, when last night you said he was at the top of your list. I don't see that he would have said much since then to persuade you otherwise.

Now here's your vote change to 3L. I believe that it came at a time when you were very close in votes (if not tied) with 3L. When others might have been considering getting off 3L because it looked like he may not show, you were getting on...apparently to make sure that 3L did UD, in your words. Looks like a complete reversal on your earlier thought re: 3L, and a clear attempt to save yourself.

I've seen lots of players vote to save themselves, but you're not one of them. Pretty sure I've seen you take a lynching in past games, even when you've had similar opportunity to save yourself. What gives?

Mad, you are 100% correct. I moved my lone vote on jpap to 3L in an attempt to save myself. I didn't expect 3L to even vote and was trying to figure out what to do next. Him showing up saved me.

Yes, I have taken plenty of lynchings. Many times it has been for the best that I go. I don't think I have ever been a day one or day two lynch. I have been hit on day one and day two, but I am pretty sure I never been lynched.

I plain old did not want to get lynched last night, that is what gives.

As DD said, it would be pretty easy for the grinch to say, ok, we're going to hit eddie, you really get on him so when he turns up innocent it will just look like two innocents attacking each other because they don't know any better. Especially with the whole motocross thing...come on, does it really matter?

As far as eddie and TL being gone...neither of them were particularly helpful, so while it sucks as far as the numbers go, I don't think we're out any real profound analysis.

Just because 3L was lynched and found innocent does not clear me. No mention of me? You were the one that put the first votes on me. How am I off your radar.

Odd that you and pig would switch from me to DD. Makes me want to have DD leaning innocent.

cat, you think that plant and dawg are communicating outside the thread? Well there are a couple of options.

a) They are part of the 3 evils that can communicate (Grinch and 2 evil elves)

b) They are part of the 3 innocents that can communicate (3 innocents with gifts)

That is it.

They can't be Santa and Rudolph, because Santa has to find Rudolph.

Now this might be a old news, but players do communicate in the thread. I learn and sometimes even follow people based on what is posted in the thread. That is the whole point in posting in the thread, to communicate to the rest of the town.

You have posted some thoughts on what the evils might do, but I am sure you would agree that evils would most likely not vote together for the first few days.

So basicly you are stating that plant and dawg are communicating innocents. This bothers me.

I have you leaning a little more evil.

Mad It was more rhetorical than anything because it was a way to get them to think about it and an attempt to get them to see my line of thought.

A little worrisome, as this seems to deviate from your overall philosophy in past games, when innocent.
