Mafia 46: In the Dark

Hey guys sorry for the confusion. Noodles made a really good point, as a town it wouldn't of done any good to have a tie. So I was going to vote for who ever I thought would be the most mafia ish. Well between the two I musta been wrong because dawg was mafia. It was a random vote, but because my vote wasn't doing anything any way I thought why not. And I said I'll explain later because I had like a minute to try to post it, you can look that up!

But lady G, I expected you would vote for me, but it is blatantly obvious that you are the mafia and are just trying to get me out of the way. You have been laying low for a while now, and suddenly changed, as ogre pointed out. I dont know what caused this change in strategy. But I know, you know, that I know who you are. You and dog were a communicating mafia team. FACT. Obviously you can see she is panicing because thats why she is voting for me so early.

People of ACville, if I go out tonight, I can promise you one thing. Lady G is the culprit.

I mean I have to spend quite a bit of time reading and getting caught up when I come on...seems to me there is quite a bit of talking going on. For the record I did not vote for you to make people talk. I voted for you because I know your the mafia, but you keep to yourself and dont say much to benefeit the town. If we get you out of the way, then everyone else is talkative and has the best intrest, which is one thing that you lady G dont have.

Wow, that's very interesting. I'm sorry, but I don't believe you. At this point, I'm much more inclined to let LadyG go and put you on the top spot.

1) After 200 or so posts (no I'm not going to go look it up), the best you can come up with is a random vote between me and dawg? Now, that's skimming. You might as well have left it for the ref to decide (which he does in the event of a tie) by a random number. See, you've implicated yourself for no return. Even if it had been me dying, then you would be implicated for a last minute vote switch.

2) Please explain to me (as you would a small child) how it is 1) a "FACT" and 2) "blatantly obvious" that LadyG is a mafia. I'll admit there are some concerns about her from people I trust, but there has been no level of demonstratable proof. Voting for you is a mark on the innocent side as far as I'm concerned right now.


I still like rich slightly better right now, but this post from lucky needs some work.

Well, We now know Dawg was mafia and we're assuming that rich and lucky or LadyG are mafia, then John may not fit into that grouping as mafia. That implies that one of the three I just listed are not mafia.

We were assuming John was innocent because we thought (the I we here, not you and me) three others were mafia.

If John is/was mafia, then there are at most, two mafia left. I've got three top choices... sigh.
 
You are assuming too much, I dont know how to put this, but I know without a doubt in my mind that LadyG is the mafia, and if you vote for her I promise it will not be a mistake.

If not fine, vote for me, and you will see I am as innocent as they come by, (and then some)

I'm sorry I cant explain myself, ane might get kicked for hinting, but trust me on this. LadyG is the mafia.

Oh crap. Your right. I totally did not think that through. Okay...John, you better show up! I was dead set on the LadyG/Rich team....Oh dear.

g/o Yeah, I've been switching the icon a lot because a) now that I have discovered that site, there are way too many choice, lol and b) I can't get my background to be transparent like the other ladies...so I keep trying different things...g/o

So if we look at where those two votes could go to influence the lynch it would have had to be either onto Ogre, to give dawg the out or onto Noodles to give Noodles 4 votes and tie them up with dawg.

Why not go to Ogre and give dawg the out ? because late switches onto an innocent presuming Ogre comes up innocent is going to hammer the late switcher and likely they lose a mafia anyway on the vote next night.

Why not go to Noodles, make it a three way tie ? Perhaps they were already on Noodles (that would be LG and Rich, who if I remember correctly jumped on board after Ogres vote. Pretty sure of that - don't hate me if I am wrong.

This is a plausible case for LG and Rich to be mafia and nothing else really explains the inactivity to save dawg.

To summarise - no activity because they elected not to hang Ogre and be implicated themselves on the next night, but to allow dawg expose himself as such (he could explain his switch as trying to save himself like any innocent would) and equally it was numerically impossible to put 2 votes anywhere else except Noodles, and LG and Rich were already on board.

This is at the least worth considering.


Other possibilities :

a) Ogre is also mafia and it was an astute play which the other votes permitted to allow dawg tie himself up on Ogre. This would basically immunise Ogre making the best of a bad lot which was going to result one way or the other in a mafia lynch.

I don't really buy this. I was thinking of Ogre as innocent prior to last night.

b) I got nothing to explain it otherwise, except that perhaps the mafia are just lazy *** part-timers who have given up and could not be bothered to mount a rescue effort on dawg. This would put all those single votes in the frame for scum.

That's my thinking on Lady G and Rich at least. I don't have a closed mind to anything though and I havn't decided on a vote.

I agree with most of the original thinking....rich and LG already being on noodles and switching to save dawg would definitely show them as being Mafia. I would assume they did not change because they knew that dawg was going to be lynched and why sacrifice two for one.

On your list you list yourself as almost surely innocent....This raises question for me as most lists don't include selves. I agree with your list for the most part...I did vote to lynch you last night but I am leaning a lot mor to the innocent side now after last nights vote. Your listing of yourself does raise a little suspicion for me still though.

A lot happened in day two that really made me think and changed a lot of things around for me.

This is what I am thinking ATM
C-note almost surely innocent had you as mafia early but have almost proved to be innocent after the last couple days.
DD innocent, I have thought this from the beginning, but really hasn't said much to really say for sure on way or the other.
John Has not posted enough to say....I am going to guess innocent if he is still alive.
mael really not sure but the way he is communicating along with cnote I have to lean towards innocent but leaning innocent.
lucky leaning more towards mafia esp. after the late vote change...seemed like an attempt to save a mafia
Ogre Split between mafia and innocent, but from the last list that included herself as innocent leaning more towards mafia.
LadyG Possible mafia
Rich Likely mafia
noodles not sure about her could be either or at the moment innocent
Opi Not sure

That is where I am at right now.
