Earlier in the day Mark had spotted a couple of young people walking past his store and were interested in the fact the hardware store was going to be open for business soon. Both of them helped to clean everything and get it ship shape for the next day. Mark knew it was going to be a busy day just because of the casual conversations that the couple was having while hastily cleaning shelves.

One of the more off handed comments was that I had better find a good rope supplier due to the number of lynchings in this town. He did realize that crime was that rampant, but ensured that he would take the suggestion to heart and find a good supplier the following day.

One their way out the couple asked if it would be OK if they made some pre-opening purchases.. Being the neighborly sort that he was, Mark said "Sure, no problem."

However the couples purchases worried him. One purchased several lengths of rope and the other some fishing line and tackle. Said they were going on an expedition.. He wondered what kind....

yes and no...I kicked off the game in the way I did (still voting for myself btw lol) because its a Sunday (now night) here, and I won't be halfway as active until maybe tomorrow evening after I turn in. I'm an innocent and playing it with a totally straight bat.

I also think that I will be a leading candidate for the mafia hit and want to get some stuff out there in case that happens.

The mafia hit tonight (if it isn't botched) will be very telling. I was doing the same, getting it all out there. I still am wary of just about everyone (including you) at this point of the game.
