I think at this point people have players who are a little more suspicious than others, but they are not ready to vote for them. Maybe that is what DD is saying about Kashta? But I see what you mean Mad...it's a really wishy-washy way to have someone on your list, but not really...

yes, my eye is on everyone..... extra close on Kash because of the whole PM blunder in the beginning of the game, her absence and reappearance when noted on during last night and for her desperate struggles today.
However, with the whole PM blunder, it could be that she is a PR, thus my reluctance to vote for her at this time.
I am following up on those who voted late on Zigman. What I am saying is although Coler's vote is on Kash at the moment he seemed more willing to vote RB and myself at the start of game day.
Go back and read the nite time events, JP. Coler did retract and vote correctly. It appears JL missed it in his vote count. Even Kashta said it was unintentional, but I can't take her word for it. Her vote was quite a while after Coler's and RB's and two min's b4 nitefall.
Really looking forward to hearing an answer for this question, Kashta. You failed to address it in your recent post :
Here's your first post... 'Woohoo! The game is on.' Why would it be 'game on' if you hadn't received a PM (and therefore didn't know your role)?
Here you explain how you edited the first post to say '(almost)'. Apparently you went on to read the thread further and saw the game was not on yet, so edited the first post... So you're saying that it took further reading JL's instructions for you to realize it wasn't 'Game On'? What about the fact that, if you hadn't received a PM, you wouldn't know your role? That's a pretty good clue that it ain't 'Game On' yet.
This makes it pretty clear that you did receive a PM, and based on the actions I've already pointed out, I am extremely confident that you are against the town...
I'm so confident, that if this game were being run in Chicago (instead of ACville), I'd vote for you twice.

Even so, I do question your motives here after so much of this. You've already raised the concerns you have and I've addressed them. You're not satisfied and it's clear enough already (at least to me) that you're not going to be for one reason or another. Okay, I accept that. Your vote is locked in and it's not going to change. So be it.
But it's not like you're still trying to decide who to vote for today... I don't believe you're still probing me about this to determine for yourself how you wish to vote. This has become more of an attempt on your part to deliberately sway the thinking of anyone else you can. Frankly, I rather doubt whether that's in the best interests of the town.

Mad, I didn't think that far at the time. It was just me being over-eager to get started and not something I paused to deliberate about first before I clicked on the post button and sent it off.
That's actually something I do quite a lot of on this board given the volume of posts I make here on a daily basis, the real-time messaging back and forth in our chat room for hours on end, and all the PMs I go through. Not knowing yet what role I had in the game didn't matter because the post I was making - at that moment - was just me. I didn't need to be in "character" or anything, to have my head in the game, or to think about roles at all to make that post. What I said in the post was just an expression of enthusiasm.
I didn't know yet what I was supposed to do in this game but I already knew I was going to find out. So it didn't matter then. I didn't know quite how the game was going to work either because the roles and the parameters were very complicated. I already knew I was going to have to figure that out and if I got stuck on something I'd need to send JL a private message and ask him some bonehead question about this. Maybe even a whole list of bonehead questions. But that was okay too. I hadn't even stopped to read through the instructions yet so contacting JL before going any further than that was already a distinct probability in my mind.
There were a lot of proposed rule changes being talked about in the signup thread that I just glossed over too. I didn't follow all those details because the final version is what I wanted to focus on, instead of so many other convoluted possibilites that I didn't understand which would just confuse me even more.
I remembered there were a lot of changes being talked about. Then as it kept getting later and later, I started to wonder if we were going to have a game at all.. or maybe it would be postponed. Last time, the game started right at 6 pm (my time) and when this thread appeared, it was almost 2 hours later than I expected.
So yes.. I saw the thread, saw the big post and name list, and I was happy the game was on... so to speak. And I posted a message right away which said that. Then I sat back and scrolled back up to the instructions to find out what I needed to know next. I wasn't waiting for there to still be an official "game on" notice from JL because I didn't even remember seeing that in thread of the game we played last time. That phrasing "the game is on" was just as much "the game is here finally" or "the game wasn't cancelled" as anything else.
As far as me getting a PM and being in a power role... I wish I had received one. If I'd just gotten a PM saying something like that it would have stopped me long enough to think... "oh crap, now what do I do?" And at that point my thoughts would have gone straight to all those unresolved questions I hadn't worried about yet... and getting in contact with teammates (if there were any).. and all the rest. At that point, making an unnecessary post in the thread wouldn't have been what I would have done next.
If she were a townie PR, I'm pretty sure the Rebels would have caught the same clues most of us did and whacked her last nite or they plan to tonite. My bet is that she is not a townie PR.

I seen somewhere you said you copied and pasted the list....just curious if you left me out on purpose and why you have some of the most quiet players neutral or non suspect....Quietness usually says scum, Also looking at your list you had RB as suspect scum? He is now gone and turned up innocent townie...Can you explain that, can't believe no one else caught it yet. You also have jpappy as a suspect, Why? For now I am adding you to my possible list of suspects, unless you can explain your thinking and your list.
So why the vote change now? You retracted your vote on her after you have been so set on her for two days now, just curious...I feel you have been dead set on that vote and now you are changing out of no where....the move seems a bit off the wall.
That is a good vote and sense last night, even when TRS was on he didn't say much, only to make himself look suspicious.
Not much really today, hope to see some more posts from those not posting much. The quiet ones are really bothering me but I do have a list of suspects...TRS, Plant, and Zsand are at the top....My feelings of plant being scum are still there and my vote is still on them ATM but I don't think that will turn a whole lot up at this point by lynching them.
I think I am going to go with my gut and and from what was posted last night by TRS. I feel TRS is 100% scum therefore I am going to retract my vote..

Mad, it's not that obscure. I hadn't "started playing without knowing" my role because I hadn't started playing. It was a meaningless post. Granted, you may not see it that way now or maybe you just don't want to. But to me at the time I posted... that's all it was.
If you saw I said I copied the list (from JL page one list) then you should of seen that that is why I forgot you. Rb I had a 4 (that's barely scummy) and as flaky as he was acting I suspect most of us had him that way. No, quiet does not always mean scum, I always think that and that's why I go after quiet players so much, but it doesn't pan out that way. I already explained pappy and most else what you ask here in previous posts. I'm glad to see actually posting a list makes me a suspect, I posted this and asked others to do the same yet no one has...
