When a player that was presumed dead comes back from protection the town will be told they have returned - since they were protected, when they die, I will not reveal anything more than they were a citizen.

1. If it was mafia protection then the one wiseguy that protected the player will know and that player will be a wiseguy, not able to communicate, but get the blackmail details from the Don.
2. If it was rebel protection, then all of the rebels will know, plus that player will become a rebel.
3. If it was bala protection, then only the bala will know.

For the most part, the majority of the town will not know the status of the returning player.

The protections are for lynch's. Anyone can be protected. If a wiseguy wants to protect the Don and the Don get's lynched, then a wiseguy will be promoted to Don and when the player returns, they will be a wiseguy. Now the ex-Don could have been protected by the bala, but not the rebels. The ex-Don would return as a wiseguy or a mafia citizen.

If the rebels and the wiseguy protect the same person there is no protection. If the rebels protect the Don or a wiseguy, there is no protection. There will be no double agents. No player that was a wiseguy will return as a rebel and no rebel will return as a wiseguy. They may return to their original "team" or be citizens. They will not turn. The Don, the wiseguys, and the rebels will return from protection if their own team selected them or if bala sselected them.

I hope this clears this up.

By the way, there are protections for this first lynch and I will need tomorrows protections before nightfall. If for some reason your protected player does not make it through the night, you lose that protection. (you were a day late!)

Part of me wants to tell the player they are being protected, but am unsure - I think they should know. Also there is no rule against voting for yourself.

I hope this clears this up. For the record my plan to mod a game was to keep it simple with some twists.

Speaking of twists, is that blue mist coming from the east?

It appears the protections were in at the time of this post. So unless the one wiseguy or the rebels had the foresight to protect Zigman then he was protected by Bala.

Let's not forget that Plant did try to change her vote from Zig to Kash at the same exact time JL called night. Unless she really is psychic I'm thinking she didn't know about the protection on Zig.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the mucs are sitting back at this point and letting us take each other out. I tend to agree with Plant that if Kash is mucs she probably is protected tonight.

My previous statements about Coler's comments on his post not coming out of nowhere still has me thinking.

In the first part of the quote you say exactly what I said, you just turned the words around. The Protections are made the day before so if the Rebels picked Zig, it would make sense to rally a vote on him like what happened right before Nightfall Day 1, maybe there was no Rebel Protection that day? I'm not sure and the rules don't say one way or another. And if you are accusing me of Protecting Red, like I said to Mostly... yeah right. You voted first on Zig who was an Citizen presumably, I vote first on Red who was a Citizen presumably. How can you try and lynch me for the same thing you yourself have done. The difference is I voted Red early enough that we all had time to discuss it before Nightfall, unlike the late train on Zig.

I am not pushing Kash, I voted for her because I saw Mad was the Hit victim then thought better of an abrupt move on my part. I am still as wary of voting for her as I have been since the whole Day 1 non-sense began. If anything I am now pushing you since you have decided to come at me with such ambition. Was I Protected yesterday? Do you want me lynched so I can join your crew? No thanks.

I have addressed the possible protection on Zigman. You pushed TRS early for another reason I think. We shall see. If he comes back, i'd say u had a hand in it. Who did u protect if not Kashta? I think you know your powers of persuasion in this game and you were testing the waters to see if you could get outraged townies to follow you onto Kashta.

I didn't protect TRS. And as he wasn't one of my suspects I didn't vote him. My vote was out very early on Kashta and I was pushing for a vote on her, if u go back and read. If I was able to protect and put a protection out on TRS, wouldn't it make more sense for me to try and push a lynch on him than someone else?

I believe Dawg had thought up using Mucs as The Mafia, usually called Scum, are now the good guys.

plant is definitely setting off my radar today he accuses you of leading us by the nose when he was practically threatening us into voting for Kashta yesterday and after the full blown campaign against her plant just drops it today. seems odd.

plant does bring up some good points on ZS and DD working very light handed to push peoples votes. maybe its just their style of play but could be that they are actually mafia and trying to subtly communicate with their group or they could be rebels trying to control events nothing overly solid there but could use some watching

Kashta is still suspect but i don't see her being a good vote at this time there is too much heat and likely to be at least one protection on her so i don't think we would learn anything from her lynching

MC has had some odd posts but could be due to him/her coming into the game late and not reading through the rules and our disscussion of some of it day one that well nothing much there for me

i don't have anything else now but if anything come to mind ill look into it

Or it could be exactly like how Z is saying and they all knew he was protected and dogpiled him at the end which would make you right in the midst of that plant. Is that why you keep trying to clear Zig's name? IS that why you changed at the end because you knew it would be too obvious? Was the whole after nightfall was called oopsie just a stint?

Right now my top suspects are Plant and Zig. Plant because she is all over the place, trying to point fingers everywhere, not making sense at times, and trying to rearrange facts to make them work for her. Zig because there is a 1:3 chance he is mucs.

My other thoughts are: Does anyone else find it really strange that for days Plant has been calling Kash scummy , but as soon as Z votes for her, Plant is all over him??
