as far as I can see, there were only 2 other people who questioned this.... jpappy and plant. What makes you say "several other people"?
The reason this post in particular weighs pretty heavy is because I am used to you being havy worded and concise. You seem to work at being clear with your choice of words.... but to say "several others" as opposed to "a couple other".... Could I be giving you too much credit? I dunno... it just doesn't sit right with me. So.... when you say "several others", you talking about another board or a chat room.... ?

I took the liberty of assuming that someone else may have the same question without posting. I guess we all know what happens when you assume though. Also, last night rum was involved.

Your nitpicking on the other hand lends credit to FireDancers criticism of you.

Right now, top three are Ogre, Jpap and DD.

Ogre and Jpap becuase I feel like they are distancing in their posts. They seem to be at odds, but it feels off to me. Can't put a concrete reason on it. DD because I feel like her posts are totally about putting doubt on other players, but not contributing as per her normal style.

Reading over a little more and now I am curious why you are so worried about the 3 votes on zaffy? there are 3 votes on two other players but these dont concern you? Just seems a little wierd.....

I didn't realise there were more on three votes... but as said earlier- because the lynched person is randomly chosen if multiple people have the same votes my idea wouldn't work anyway.

Well, apparently my vote on BKW is useless as he has not shown up yet. I need to read over things again and move my vote. I am not sure where yet; not feeling really good about the whole Luv/Kashta thing and Jpap also has me a little leary - not sure what it is yet..... Moving my vote in any of these directions will either break a tie or create a new tie and that looks scummy either way....will have to come back later after I have had more time to play/read and move my vote. (Being away on vacation has certainly hurt my post count! LOL and now I am buried at work- ugh!)

Well I'm busier than expected this week but I'm giving it the old college try to stay informed. To put a suspect list out I would suggest these are my top three of interest:

Luv: Obviously the defensiveness towards early votes and questioning have me perplexed. It is never fun to see your name in bold, but on Day 1 it happens all the time so I still don't see why Luv reacted the way they did.

Kash: She's a little firey this round, even a bit DDish if I may say so. Plus she asked to be mafia in the sign-up thread and that has to count for something.

Orge: How can I have a scum list and not include Ogre? Nothing solid here, just a hunch to see what his response will be

So, you're either lying or delusional. At this time you may continue to cast your wand of doubt over me, but you've got no legs to stand on.

... the reason I ask is that it looks like there are those trying to lynch Zaffy and those trying to get him "not lynched" by placing suspicion on Rocker.

Either group could be mafia... I think it safe to assume one of those two groups are mafia... therefore I put close to 50% chance on each of Zaffy and Rocker being Mafia.

Maybe the 3 votes for Zaffy were random first day events... or maybe a mafia conspiracy. Maybe trying to place blame on Rocker is to prevent a mafioso being lynched... or maybe it's real suspicion on rocker.

If two people both have the vote count and both get lynched (if that's how the rules work)- it would work out statistically better for the innocents if the vote is co-ordinated so the late votes through retraction, etc, so that they both end up getting lynched... even if one is innocent, as long as the other is mafia it is to the innocent's benefit is it not since we outnumber them.

Statistically to show my point... say if there started out 2 mafia and 10 innocents (just as a sample) - 1/5 is mafia... if one of eached get lynched it goes down to 1 mafia 9 innocents- 1/9 are mafia.

My vote on rocker has nothing to do with Zaffy specifically. He voted third on a player for no apparent reason and put them in the lead when everyone else was basically throwing out random votes.

With 30-some odd players, thats a bold move to say that one of these two people is mafia at this point in the game.

A lot of "maybes" in there...so you're saying that the people voting for rocker might be mafia or they might not be...brilliant!

I agree with you Ogre on the "we" thing. What about the "we" in the quote below. This one had me wondering too.

it might just be me, but i am not seeing the "we" thing. it seems like you are more likely taking the whole thing out of context to cast some suspicion on firedancer, which may or may not be well placed, especially considering her actions last game.
