Mafia 54:Vampires Return (The Play)

Wow, that's a lot of posts since I went to sleep last night... I notice jpappy was posting well into the night. Interesting....
Interesting, how? It's pretty normal for me to be around late into the night/morning.
hunchy. I re-read the thread...didn't fancy kashta as a vote last night. You'll notice that anything I posted so far has been more discursive than accusatory anyway, about anyone.
And that is what worried me...

The way I see it you named a few people as more questionable than others, no matter how "discursive" it was. The fact that you voted for none of them (two were on the chopping block) shows me you were noncommital and afraid to have your voting record tarnished right away.

I cannot see myself voting for Zaffy at this point. I could see either side of the issue, and still am not convinced it will get us anywhere.

JL is starting to worry me too, however seeing as I still suspect Kash ever so slightly (not on my shortlist) I also find myself agreeing with some of the things he says...but the way he is saying them worries me. He seems to have gone full throttle at her without any restraint. I guess its normal for him to be kicking bushes, but he is playing with more tunnel vision than I am used to...just some thoughts...

Also have some players with at least a game under their belt that haven't said much in terms of suspects, etc...rb, jm, rocker....

Jm you're looking more suspect now...
still though, i think it was a contest between three innocents

to be honest, during day one i didnt have much idea. here we go though-

Zaffy- an obvious suspect because they decided to switch right at the end to save themselves. dont know if the LV would make them a vamp after that, since they're pretty much labeled and next to be lynched.

Kash- she's acting just as weird as last game, which ended up getting her lynched in a tie. the whole "Ice handpicked the roles" thing was just a bunch of complaining more than anything IMO. dont agree with it at all, and she really did seem to be pushing the issue.

JL- you're a suspect of mine, but you always are.

Ogre- same as above

where i put my vote though really depends on future events, but right now im not sold with Kash or even Zaffy, though leaning more towards Zaffy.

I find a couple things interesting...1) You did not have enough info (it being day one) to come up with any suspects yet you somehow had enough to pick out 3 possible innocents and 2) Those two people that you originally thought were innocent are on your suspect list...you seem far too reluctant to just go with the flow...what changed between then and now?

i thought that initially the three that were tied were all innocents. obviously DD was an innocent. Zaffy changing his vote literally seconds before night was called is pretty suspicious now that i think about it; was it just luck, or was it planned out so noone would be able to vote after him?

i never really said that kash was a suspect. in fact, at the end of the post i said that i wasnt sold on the train that was following her.

if i think the "flow" is wrong, why would i go with it? if you are leading us all to kill innocents, why would i go with that?

So Kash is not a suspect even though when asked who you thought might be vampires you listed her with the others...yep, that makes complete sense...

Your top two "suspects" (or whatever you want to call them as that is apparently not the correct word) have been the talk of the town today and despite you initally thinking both were innocent you have suddenly changed your mind. Going with the flow? pretty much...

And show me what would make you insinuate that I could be leading anyone to kill innocents...

Forgot...Would probably add Annie to that list also...

Yeah I take your point but what can I say. Truth be told, I made the vote on a hunch after being in the pub, and that's that, so be it.

As I said I am happy enough to name Zaffy as a suspect. That however is entirely on the basis of his uber late vote switch last night.

I have gone sort of luke warm ish in respect of Kashta as a suspect.

The other names you name as being quiet...RB - has done & said nothing. Impossible to say anything for that reason. I am tempted to put a vote on him and I think will do if he still hasn't posted anything over the next couple/few hours. JM - posts in response to being called out more than anything else. Doesn't offer anything of much value when he does. Rocker...don't know would have to go read his posts again to be honest.

yeah annie too - no idea.

ps you lucky I quoted you or people would be accusing you of an edit with agenda, cloaked with 'forgot annie'

Gah...the thing about it is is that they double in number by start D3 and then have a 50-50 chance of a turn, unlike the more usual mafia set up where they kill people off only...this could greatly condense the game if they get lucky on the turns and get a lot of 'double-swing' nights.

In other words, this is no time for townsfolk good and true to be hanging back and awaiting developments. Get on the thread folks. With that in mind I take back what I said about voting for RB in a few hours and I vote to lynch Rbishop. Quiet play is no help to the town in this game and RB has contributed nothing, despite his undoubted ability to do so.

Well, I attempted to make a post 15 minutes ago but apparently my internet connection did not like me at that moment!! :swear: We are still having net issues at work, but for the time being I retract my vote to stake Zaffy; I am in no way claiming that I am sure he is innocent or that I like the scummy way he switched his vote right before nightfall to save his own hide, but I will admit that I voted in the heat of the moment and would like time for further review. There are a couple of others that have peaked my interest. Providing my connection does not fail again, I will attempt to pull posts before I make any accusations.
