Mafia 56. An Unknown Evil. THE GAME....

I won't lie. I am hesitant to post my thoughts because of not knowing what evil I am up against. I have always felt like the bad guys use people's lists to their advantage. Even with that said, I will post my thoughts in hopes to help my fellow townies. I do like reading others because it helps me sometimes "see" things I have overlooked. (If that makes sense).
These are the people I have leaning evil:
Phoniex
Jpap
Annie
DD

Phoniex: for the exact reason Ice pointed out. I noticed her vote on Ice looked like it had been coached. For someone who hasn't played before, why would she be worried about Ice's lack of posting?? Sounds like someone on her team told her that Ice was someone to watch and hence the vote.

Jpap: Jpap I was flipflopping on. His rebuttal to my vote on him seemed sincere and the thought crossed my mind to change my vote back to Annie. BUT then he turns his whole "we shouldn't vote for Ogre because he might be good PR" to a wacko theory about past game plot. To me, it looked like Jpap changed his vote because of the pressure from a few of us. Truly, my vote on Jpap had more to do with his baiting questions about my dad than anything. Now, the whole 180 about Ogre makes me go hmm.. It looks like a little bit of pressure on him is making him squirm.

Annie: Came to the game full guns blazing. Now has caught a little heat and has disappeared again. First one to call Ogre out and vote for him. While I am still not sure of what side Ogre is voting for, Annie was quite quick to jump to voting for him. A little too quick IMO.

DD: SKIMMING!!!! I know that this doesn't make anyone an auto evil, but completely missed Annie's vote for Ogre. Quoted it as one of her reasons for voting for Ogre. When corrected, her vote on Ogre still stands. Hmmm.... Seems like she doesn't really care why she is voting. Hmmm...

Now, I want to address the whole Ogre thing. I, in no way am saying Ogre is/isn't evil. I am just at the point where I would like to take a wait and see approach. I have been guilty of exactly what Ogre has done. Said something that you knew would sound incriminating eventhough you meant something totally different. A select few usually take it and run with it, leaving you feeling defeated because nothing you can say afterwards helps the situation. I call it pulling a Bugz ;) So far, Ogre has done nothing IMO that screams EVIL to me. I could be wrong on him, but this is just where I am coming from at the moment. He has tweaked my spidey sense and will be closely watched from now on.
 
I am concerned about the amount of skimming going on in this game. There are far too many people doing it for them all to be scum.

The two people I am most concerned about at this point are Phoenix and Ogre. Phoenix because of the skimming and the vote for Ice which (I agree with Ice) seems to be a coached vote coming from a rookie. For now I vote to lynch Phoenix something just doesn't seem right with that vote switch.

I could also see voting for Ogre at this point due to his obvious screw up. The only problem I see with a vote for Ogre right now is I don't see why if Ogre was evil he would draw attention to his screw up as he has. Then again if he was innocent and a PR I would have to come to the same conclusion, why draw attention to it. <---(Sorry thinking out loud) Something just seems a bit fishy. I would have to say the same thing about JPap. However I am a little less concerned about him than Ogre, unless Ogre turns up as an innocent and/or a PR.

I don't squirm, sorry to burst your bubble. I'm voting for who I know is not on the towns side.

Can anyone tell me why else Ogre would make up a role and then lie about not playing in the game that he was supposedly referencing?

Its crossed my mind that Ogre "slipped up" again to try to bait the mayor. They know the roles and would catch on to him slipping in one of the roles from the game. I dont know why exactly he would do that at this stage of the game, maybe he's on a team that needs the mayor gone, but if it was intentional I think that was why...

Think what ever you would like. As for Ice, I am sorry, It was early in my day and I was not quite awake when I read the frist few pages. As for DD, if you remember correctly, I was in the last mafia game, though not for long. Ice told me to watch the game closely, and hence where I followed I understood a bit more. I know im a noob to this game, but meh, its a game. Im learning. flat out. I alos understand what you said luvbugs.

Ogre-I think I've voiced my opinions. If other people don't see it, fine.

DD-the skimming, then admits to being wrong yet still keeps the vote

JL-Seemed a bit shaken up earlier and am letting it slide for now, but mostly because he explained everything I asked. Still someone I'm more suspicious of...

Ice-maybe the wrong description but he is more rattled than he usually is. Not sure if I should attribute that to the fact that hes using outdated technology or if its something else...

Phoenix-acting like DD...the skimming, admits to the mistake, but no retraction.

Luv-seriously misguided at this point. Making too much out of my question.

Other people-nothing out of the ordinary yet

how this makes sense is beyond me, even for you, JL... Yes, I said Pap was correct but I had 2 reasons I was voting for Ogre (and still am), not one. Just because Pap was correct on one does not make the other point any less important to me, in fact it was the main reason I voted Ogre. Might not seem important to you but it is to me, even moreso now.

it's interesting how so much focus is made on my one reason but not the other for voting Ogre....

hmmm.... and I see you are also voting Ogre, pap... if I am so bad, why are you voting for who I am voting for??

DD looks a little more suspicious, but like JL she is always one of my suspects.

Ogre isnt looking very evil to me

jpappy might be fighting with JL, but i'm not sure if that is a reason to think he's a goon of some sort. its part of the game and if we counted every time people were fighting as them being teammates and distancing, then everyone would be evil. in fact, such notions are often how mafia plant seeds of discord amongst the townspeople.

i really hope Kash knows that Wycco isnt actually playing this game. so Kash, WYCCO CANNOT BE MAFIA, so your cross-examination of his posts are kinda meaningless.
