Mafia 56. An Unknown Evil. THE GAME....

My gosh when do ya'll sleep? <go>I've been called offshore, so I am going to be AWOL till almost Nightfall. Pretty much sucks and I didn't get the call till 4AM so sorry if this is a rambling wall of text. I will try and get on via cellphone but I don't know if the oil platform I am headed to has wifi. Some do I am told, it isn't normally my place of business. </go>

Wycco said we could be up against mafia, vampires, or completely new bad guys. I have a hunch that he has mixed in a bunch of PR's from past games as he's crafty like that. Thats why I specifically brought up the part about the bio engineers. For all we know there is a chance that certain PR's need to stay alive in order for the town to win.

On the flip side we might all be searching for one individual who is able to kill townies and all we have to do is lynch them. I wouldn't put that past Wycco either...to get us all worked up over one "unknown evil".



Are you serious? Read Ogres post in which he states he thinks everyone has a role and tell me how that does not indicate that Ogre himself has a power role. Would someone who is nothing but an innocent make that connection?

Saying something like that is pratically begging to get lynched and/or hit. I'm assuming thats what Ogre meant about putting a target on his back.

I just skimmed what was put out last night and will read it in full when I get home tonight but wanted to answer Jpaps post. I thought Ogre meant that by role its like in the alias game that everyone had a role as in bartender,farmer,reporter,salesman etc. I never assumed PR and even if I did I wouldn't of mentioned it and made him a target unless I thought he was detached evil trying to communicate to his team he was one of them,which I didn't feel was the case at the time.

Phoenix....you might want to look again.

After I actually read the thread I'll post a vote.

I don't believe I played in that alias game. Which # was that by chance?

I was not the only one who mentioned it. I don't know why that keeps being used against me.

My vote is still to lynch johnlarson66, because the statement he may way earlier in the game could have easily been written, and instead he added mumbo jumobo to confuse us, hence I think he is evil.

but now that I think about it, I didn't think there was any following in the game.... isn't there just a mayor and scattered roles?
 
I really do not know what to think. Some jabs and counter jabs but nothing that makes me say there we go. For the moment I vote to lynch JL. I do not like his we do not need to vote whats my motivation thing. That is all I got right now.

OK, I'll shut the heck up now. I'm not helping me or anyone else by continuing to frack up.

I have been thinking about the game, as a whole, rather than the specifics and I've come up with the following...

There is no way to tell what is a scummy statement at this point. Anything could have been done by Wacko Wycco. He could have sent stuff out that said players had to behave in certain manners (Coler...), everyone could have a power role (which I believe is the case), we could be facing one evil or several different evils.

If we have several different evils, then those evils probably do not have much in the way of a team, there's just not enough players.

This may not even be a mafia game. This may be (as I mentioned) more like Clue.

Until we get some information, then today is totally random... well not really. I kinda goofed (as per usual), the only reason I have to vote is that Annie brought up my statement, then did not vote for me.

I will not vote for John (or anyone else) to save myself. The only reason I will change my vote is if someone basically admits to being evil.
 
DD, yes that statement completely changes part of why you suspected Ogre. Unless I am mistaken, Annie saying Ogre wasn't evil but still voting for him was partially why you voted him, no?

Anyways...

The fact that you did not specifically address the KGB statement is convincing me that you once again goofed up and revealed your role. Unless you can show me that it was in fact a role from a past game...

What is interesting is that you listed the heads of past scum teams and included what I'm assuming is a new one for this game. I am 100% sure that if the KGB are present in this game they are not on the town's side.
