Mafia 56. An Unknown Evil. THE GAME....

I'm back now, so I'll post. Looks like nothing much has happened.

If my memory serves me correctly, Luvs comment about Annie is not at all true Kash and you would know that.

In the last vamp game Annie started getting aggressive before she was turned. I didnt follow any of the off site convos we had at that point because I was so busy but I'm pretty sure you said yourself that she wanted to act like the doc in order to be turned...not sure.

Last game though he slid under the radar and was an evil scientist. Didn't cause a stir which is what ticked off Z when the game was over.

So saying that his "aggresiveness" now means that he has an evil role is not at all correct.

Everybody worries me at this point because I don't have any idea who's playing for which side. There's been a lot of confrontational stuff going on between different people and I never get a good read on those... especially on Day 1.

In the vamp game, yes that's right. Annie worked hard trying to get turned on purpose because he wanted to join the scum team. In the following game, Annie was scum and did a great job playing that role. One thing I remember reading in their thread when they posted that after the game ended was how much Annie kept asking Wycco to let him be evil again when this game started and Wycco was going to be the mod. I don't know if Wycco would be willing to indulge that request or not.. so I realize that has no bearing on the actual assignments made here. But I do see something of a cockiness in his posting which was much like the posting he did once he became a vamp. Having successfully fooled everyone as evil last time, it's possible that Annie is tackling this game with even more confidence than he's done before...

I can accept those answers Kash, they sound well thought out.

Jpap worries me also but if he is innocent I can't risk lynching a person that is kicking that many bushes. Being so far out there will bite him in the end if he is evil. I know from experience.

My problem is that you have gone through the trouble of building a case for Annie to show why he is suspect but voted Jpap, a lone vote at that and no risk to be lynched tonight.

So if you think Annie is evil why not put him over the top? Why risk losing Ogre or Phoenix to a coin flip? You seem to be more sure of Annie then Ogre or Phoenix.

Hope you see this before night fall though I'd still like an answer afterward if not.

Ice if this isn't a classic setup, I can't imagine what else would be. Seriously...

I listing Annie as a possible suspect, but didn't feel the case strong enough to justify voting him. You came along then to state you don't see the case.. and specifically asked me to explain it. So I did... to give your direct question an equally direct answer. As I've said, I do see a case.. but I think it's a weak one.

Now you come back to me saying I should be voting Annie. Why would I do that when he's not at the top of my suspect list?

Ok I missed the not sure enough of any of the 3 to risk voting them off but...

I don't think any of us are 100% sure of our votes. We are all voting for who we think is more likely to be evil. If you feel that Annie is more likely then he should be your vote. If you think japa is then I'd expect you to have built a better case.

Okay, I guess this post makes me a little less concerned about Ice now. But still.. jeez.

I do think Jpappy is up to something here (more than usual) but I'm not sure whether or not it means he's evil. I just have to vote for someone.. and it's all I have. I don't have a case built for Jpappy either.. or anyone else. I haven't been able to put enough time into this for that. What I saw was Pappy jumping onto just about everyone no matter what they've posted (including me)...

If he's evil, that's good play because it enables him to switch around, incriminate certain players for lynching - while posting glancing blows on teammates to distance himself. If he's innocent, it's also good play because it helps us flush out scum. Of everything else I've been reading here, it's Jpappy's activity level and doggedness that stands out. So I felt it useful to address that (whether it's good or bad, I'm not sure either). At the moment, I've decided to make a call that it's more evil than innocent and he got my vote today. I don't like either of the 3 candidates who were in the running, so I went with the most likely person I could find who I felt should be questioned and possibly voted on.

I'll keep tabs then...me, Ice, Zs as far as I can tell have all said outloud that we do not see a case for Annie. I think Ice understands Kashs case, but I still dont see any reason to vote Annie over phoenix or ogre.

I don't understand her case, I stated I see where she could think she has a case.

I think that there is one player that knows who is evil and who is innocent. I know that player is not me. I think the evils are going to want to kill the mayor any way possible. I am hoping that there is a doctor that can protect the mayor from a hit. I don't want to be part of the lynch party that lynches the mayor.

The highlighted part is important, I think. As I understand the rules/scenario we've got so far... the mayor knows what the roles are. But they do not know which player is in which role. If that's true, then the mayor doesn't know who is evil and who is innocent.

Most likely the case as I dont see Wycco just handing the mayor the game on a silver platter, but to be fair who knows what he is up to...

I guess I just don't understand why you went through the trouble in your limited time to build a case on Annie being evil then dismiss it as not enough evidence then vote Jpap with nothing but a feeling as your base.
